I put up threads and posts and try to stick to the point.

But I think I'll knock it on the head for a while, I'm not taking the rap for everything people don't like.

That's exactly the kind of shyte that's ruined RTG.

This thread, and the 'Statement' thread have both become personal attacks on me.

Some people take forums was to seriously, I don't and can take them or leave them.

I'll leave the board to people who can post better stuff and improve it, take it back to 'how it used to be' or whatever they want.

Haway kiddo, I don't understand why someone of your background should be acting like a snowflake.

Whilst I cannot claim to speak on behalf of anyone other than myself, I think it would be fair to say that most appreciate your input, which only adds to people's knowledge of what's going on [often] behind the scenes at SAFC.

Whether you continue to post [or not] has to be a decision for you alone but all I can say is to stop acting like a sensitive girl.

I believe you to be anything but and that many others would agree with me.

The only person stirring things in this thread is smug. This is a complete non-story and the OP reads as another 'I said this and look how ITK I am' post.

The article doesn't even say anything relevant to whether he's still working for SAFC or not, but well done.

A complete non-story that you, and other people, are continuing to discuss ...

... you might want to consider thinking before you go diving in feet first.

This could actually become one of the biggest stories at the club and something that will be discussed for years, if not decades.

It's probably the biggest story in town at the moment, and it's a match day.

Whatever the ins and outs of this, one thing is clear ...
... Methven is out of order claiming it's well known in football that the supporters are the problem at Sunderland.

If it's so well known why did you come here you bellend.

It's not a non-story because Charlie has contradicted himself yet again. I nearly posted the Times article myself last night. I bet I wouldn't have received the stick @Smug in Boots has and he didn't claim to be ITK about anything on this thread.

Thanks mate, there was absolutely nothing ITK about this thread and ludicrous to suggest there was.

By the time I was posting this I'd already had the screenshot you posted so knew I was on safe ground saying CM was stirring things. It was inevitable that certain people would see the OP username and piss their pants as usual instead of considering what's actually happening.

Methven has a great deal of money at stake here and he wants to sell his shares to the highest bidder. He couldn't do any more, to put off potential buyers, than claim there's a disease at the club that can't be cured .... absolutely idiotic from someone who obviously believes himself more intelligent than other people.

This is a good board with many decent posters who don't always agree, thankfully ....

.... but it could easily be spoiled if people come on to derail threads just because they don't like someone.

I don't need strangers on the internet to like me and what I'm posting is supposed to informative, interesting and honest.

I receive dozens of messages every day, regarding what's happening, and I try to decipher what's accurate and relevant. I'm posting 99% what I'm told and 1% of actual first hand ITK information. If people don't believe me, or just can't abide me, that's fair enough ...
... but ffs just ignore me and allow other people to make their own minds up instead of trying to kill debate.

Without that a discussion forum is just a pointless Punch & Judy show.

Tbf, I remember looking at our fanbase closely a few years back and comparing what I could to other clubs supporters. I've never known any other football grounds to empty as quick as ours. Other clubs seem to get the full stadiums behind them for the full game, I was watching people getting up and leaving from the 75th minute and these were games that we were drawing, by the time the 90th minute comes around you can spread right out across the seats. Maybe it's just a northeast issue because the Newcastle supporters are worse again. Mock funerals, shouting at shops, turning on the managers quickly.

Patience and support required not lobbing the toys out the pram and screaming at our players to let them know how **** they're.
The early leaving looks really poor, especially when a result's in the balance. I'm sure an element of it is the difficulty getting away from the area not least due no effort being made to alter the "priority " on traffic lights. Match traffic is held up while lighter traffic crosses it's path.
I'm sure in the early days of the SOL plod used to man the control boxes to help flow

I posted earlier about Methven still being around, stirring things and writing the club statement.

Aye alright. Fair enough I did think the original article was gubbins, but if you start off saying 'look at what I posted and now this...' you can perhaps understand given your habit of listing your various ITK claims that it's hard not to think it's a another smug being smug thread.

But I apologise, at the time it was just a rehash by The Times, now it looks much more important.

The irony of it is, they all leave early, which in turn builds up traffic. By the time I get out after the match has finished, the traffic has died down.

My various ITK claims include things like posting that McGeady was going before it was mentioned anywhere or reported in the press.

I was the first person, anywhere, to say Methven was going.

I was the first person, anywhere, to post that FPP were being advised by an ex-England manager which now seems common knowledge.

I naively assume that's the kind of thing people, on a Sunderland forum, might be interested in.

It might suit you to believe it's all wild guesses but you don't have to jump in every time and spoil it for other people who might be interested.

Hmm! Responds to post accusing of listing ITK claims by listing ITK claims - irony?

Keep posting what you hear or know Smug as without that stuff the board dies. Admit I was wrong about this thread which I thought was a rehash of what we knew(which it was) without appreciating the consequences of it going national.

Don't overlook the fact that you actually got an apology from KM in his last post !!

Said many times now that they should open the bars on the concourse after full time for an hour. Bit of music, food and beer while the queues for the metro go down might mean a few thousand stay behind whilst bringing additional cash into the club.

The quotes in the Times' article are something and nothing. It's not until you see the supposed 'minutes' and the 'disease' comments that it becomes more serious.

The real irony is that I've always happily stated that the claims are ITK ...

... it would be pretty bloody stupid posting claims that aren't <laugh>

It would be virtually impossible to just guess that one of our most popular, and 'important', players was causing trouble and engineering a move.

On a par with Mrs Doyle guessing the name of the new priest!

"Father Spodo Komodo?"

I was told by someone at the club who's ITK, I posted it which made me ITK and you read it which makes you ITK.

It doesn't mean I sit in on FPP board meetings.

But what we were getting at is that you did start the thread off as if you posting about Methven was relevant to the times article, which at the time seemed like a non-story.

Give it a rest man, does it never sink in when people say you're boring ...

.... I deliberately set the thread out knowing this was all coming out.

I knew someone would jump in trying to derail it and you did with yet another personal attack ...

... the very thing you were whining about yesterday.

I can't see that working. Cheap warm/sunny pub with better choice or expensive cold/dark concrete block with tasteless lager or dark cider? :emoticon-0145-shake

Nothing new, along with his paranoia - as David Frost [RIP] used to say "The clues are there".

Hang on... I don't understand now.

Ludicrous indeed.
