This could have a profound effect on my recently registered graffiti removal business...Could be a flash point at the cenotaph today, HDM reporting Patriots are going to defend it, what are the current ethics of our Boar War Memorial?

A good job a statue wasn't erected for you know who....The HDM have today published a list of statues of people in Hull, who may have a dodgy past, they include William Wilberforce, Amy Johnson, Philip Larkin and David Whitfield. I **** you not.![]()
That's the perfect example of exactly how a point can and should be put across.Everyone was very well behaved at the last one, I doubt anyone's planning on trying to scrawl anything on any monuments.

George Washington was a slave owner.
Every nation on Earth has had some form of serfdom at some point in time in history. So were the Romans and Egyptians....Bang goes the pyramids and the Collosseum.
More so in Glasgow....There wouldn't be much left in the East of the City Centre.Every nation on Earth has had some form of serfdom at some point in time in history.
How about levelling all the monumental buildings erected by wealthy landowners over the millennia ?
There would be nowt left !
Talking of statues and keeping it to sport, are there any sporting statues in Hull? We have named roads and a golden phone box but no statues, still talk of a proper one for Jack Harrison VC?
Are you keeping an eye out for your vulnerable neighbours ?I reckon the current one for Jack Harrison is fine- much better than the 'me too; statues outside many grounds. The worst one in the country must be bremner at leeds. Like a large action man figure with tatty rags draped on it.
We have major roads named after sports stars - Raich Carter Way, and also the Roger Millward Tenfoot in East Hull.
I'd like to think we in this city don't give a **** what happens on the streets of America- it has nowt to do with daily life in this country., I can only presume it's lockdown fever.
We have hundreds of deaths each day due to a virus, people losing their livelihoods and jobs, a massive looming recession affecting tens of millions of British people- don't we have enough to focus on here?
