I'm not sure what research you've done, but as someone who's spent between three weeks and two months in China, every year for the past thirty years(most recently this September), I can tell you football fans there can't understand what the hell we're ****ing about at.

initially, I was going to say "Lesster Tigers and Castleford Tigers are well supported over there because of their names... oh hang on"
but then I realised that one is egg chasing and we are in the worlds most open/popular league, in the worlds most popular sport, surely that will make a difference.
But in reality, the only thing that will bring us success among the asian youth markets are trophies.

Bollocks. Dutch is spot on there. It's embarrassing how small our crowds are looking at our catchment area. People take the piss out of Leeds but they've got Bradford next door and loads of other clubs in the vicinity. We've got no competition for miles. We've got our own corner of the country there for the taking yet half of them are Leeds, Liverpool or general PL fans.

Only Mussie ever really wanted that and he's probably happy supporting Ferriby now.

Oh and we're already the tigers ffs. All the name change would do is downgrade our status as The Tigers to just Hull ones. Even if Chinese people do their business based on which companies are tiger-related they'd invest already because we're already the Tigers. The Egyptians bought into the Gedo thing even though we aren't called Hull Gedos. Foreignors can see more than just the name.

Asian football fans aren't stupid...they'll see right through any intention from the club to target them and join in with the rest of football in royally taking the piss...

Despite recent events, CTWD remains a pro-Allam/anti-name change organisation.

Whilst I know that, to the masses they will hear the opposition towards he who shall not be named himself, know of the CTWD group and associate the 2. I did mention to OLM and Obadiah its too easy to put 2+2 together and lose some potential support through misinformation, and that CTWD should officially put down any anti HWSNBN ideology from the start before people confused their goal for hounding HWSNBN and his family out of the club.

I think the CTWD group are quite open in their support of HWSNBN, they even go as far as naming HWSNBN by name.

CTWD support HWSNBN but oppose the proposed name change of HCAFC to HCT or even HT.
