Not with this set of ****ing fannies. Schools football can still use it. Some soft **** on here started bleating about how many top pro footballers will it produce FFS

So how many gymnasts trampoliners, roller derby <laugh> champions has it? Who would ****ing care if we did.

Your a real wordsmith aren't you ? are you unable to reply to posts without using the ***** keys ?
I questioned how many footballers it would produce, in a dignified manner, I also asked who the last City academy product was who's played more than a handful of games, to date nobody has provided an answer.

If the council terminate the lease or they buy the SMC for £1, they cannot afford to run it. So I'll have to agree with OLM that they won't do anything at all

It was ran at a small profit pre Allam, so no reason why it couldn't again

That is why the Academy needs upgrading to Grade 2. No-one knows how many footballers it will produce and no-one will know until the Academy is upgraded.
For the record City have several young players loaned out to FL clubs at the moment.
All products of the current Academy.
FFS when will people realise that City need this indoor 3g pitch in place for the audit in April?
They only have to tick the box otherwise it is another two years spent in the wilderness playing Hartlepool once a month,
When/if City meet the criteria and get the huge increase in funding then maybe they will build themselves an indoor training facility?
The Allams are at least trying to rectify this problem. Unlike the previous regime who wasted every penny and more the first time we were in the Premiership.

Its good if weve some youngsters making their way with FL clubs, but not quite the question I posed. Can I ask, if this pitch has to be in place for an April audit, how long has this been known to the club? and how on earth will they conjure it up within the given timeframe?
would it be quicker/cheaper/viable to build over one of the existing outdoor pitches at the complex, or is this a different type of pitch ?

How long have they known they needed an indoor 3G pitch?
Did it come as a surprise this month?

Doesn't playing football come under 'community use' ?

What about all the other activities and clubs which use it? Cutting them out is hardly good, community orientated behaviour. Allam looks like a bullying, greedy ****; it is nigh on impossible to defend or justify his actions here.

But you will have some that try !!!

if they buy the SMC for £1 I agree with you. All the existing contracts/leases will be in place.

If they terminate the contract Hull City, Hull FC and any other users will have to negotiate new leases with the council or the new management company to remain in the KC. Any new contract with Hull City would be for a commercial rent.

That's got Coventry City written all over it, Allam won't negotiate with the council (unless it's on the terms already agreed), he'd sooner move us to another ground to share until the council buckle as there's no money coming in

This posturing could be Allams biggest mistake and the start of outing him.Hes said( and he never goes back on his word, well them he means in the 1st place) that HCC can buy SMC for £1, in return HCC leader Clr Brady is quoted in the press (well HDM actually) that if he submits the offer in the correct way they will consider it.IF and IF HCC decide they have a case to evict him for breaching his SMC lease then all existing contacts are null and void and would leave Allam owning just a football club with only players as assets and a considerable debt, oh hang on, that's his aswell

There's more chance of me shagging Rhianna tonight, than there is of HCC trying to terminate the SMC's lease.

And your best guess for a groundshare is ?

Actually, the trampoline people have produced talent who've represented Britain, if it was your kid who'd put in the effort to get to represent their country, you'd probably be a little less flippant about how much of an issue this is for them.

I'll be impressed if they do organise an actual protest, and hope it doesn't get hijacked by AKACTWD.

Seems more popular than any other protests in recent times that's for sure.

I'm not seeing a queue of people, including HCC, wanting to take on the SMC and run it at a profit. Why is that I wonder?

Being good at bouncing doesnt impress me.

They'll get somewhere else, you know it. Just give it a rest with all the caring sharing bollocks. All those clubs can find other venues as anyone whose ever runs clubs know. It happens all the time.
We're going to get a great new 3g pitch for schools to use as well as the Academy and the first team. Nothing is more important than that.
