Fair enough, but I think you are on a loser there, it is a human trait, must get to the front of the queue, must get to the train first for a seat, must get on the bus first as I don't want to stand, or sometimes in my case, must get to the loo before I pee myself, lots of reasons.

Yes i'm not so naive that i think everyone can stay and have the time to,i just looked at st marys on Saturday with around 5-10 mnutes to go and there were streams and streams of people leaving! it was like we just conceded our 4th goal or something! i try and look at it from a players perspective and see what they see and surely that would annoy them or put them off somewhat.Never mind it won't change i suppose but it just seems a shame, especially for the players who give their all.

I can still remember that game where we were winning with minutes to go and Crouch ran on goal and lost possession and the opposition scored. That was a defining game in our relegation year. Wish he'd gone and held it by the corner flag.

Yep Saints 2 Everton 2 Marcus Bent getting the equaliser!

Don't remind me!!

Man U wind the clock down in the corner all the time in games where it matters. If the greatest manager in football history has his team doing it, it must be worth doing.

I have said in the past about people having commitments but literally thousands of people streamed out on Saturday,no-one is gonna tell me they all had to work or lived up north,it's a disgrace and if i want i'll say it every week!!! alot of things have been done to death on here but it still gets said cos it's important.Don't tell me not to mention it! i think it's an important issue, something that doesn't help the players one little bit!!!

Where did I say don't, I have no authority to prevent you from expressing an opinion, I was merely opining that you are wasting your time if you think anything will change, nothing annoys me more than the impromptu Mexican Wave in front of me from just before half time, why they cannot wait for the whistle is beyond me, but it is mostly casuals not regulars in the non allocated seats in front of me.

I suppose those that were walking out, were supremely confident in a job well done, knowing that the opposition were not going to hurt us, a bit different when you have a knuckle grinder and hanging on for grim death, suppose you have to be grateful for the positives.

The thing that pisses me of most is people that band the racist card about.

People were leaving in their droves from the Ipswich game on Tuesday as well, at 1-1 in a finely poised match where we easily could have nicked it. I was there biting my nails, while people were squeezing past.

Absolutely mad! Each their own.

Exactly what i was gonna reply! That was ridiculous!!!

Although I don't attend matches regularly nowadays, I have never been able to contribute knowingly to that pub conversation that involves recalling a time when, walking away from the stadium, an almighty cheer rang out. It's never happened to me. I have simply never left a game early. That doesn't make me a better fan or anything [before people start down that road], I'm just saying that I can't add to that conversation.

I was out sailing up Southampton Water, about this time last year, to help a mate shift his sloop from the Medina to Cracknore Hard, and there were a couple of huge roars from up the Itchen. Saints had scored on both occasions. Sounded superb. Literally brought tears to my eyes.

If it didn't exist I wouldn't, it's not going to go away by ignoring it, at Southampton we have a campaign to stamp it out, but awareness is all.

Yes but people call others racist for practically nothing these days it's sad.

Plus it seems it only works one way, white person having a go at black, mixed race etc person = racist. Black or other saying the same go's unnoticed. It's like a in built thing madness I say.

Learned my lesson at The Dell in 1976, losing and hacked off, making my way to the exit when Hughie Fisher equalised, I nearly got killed in the rush to get back in to the Ground, the rest they say is history.

Years ago I was serving a customer who was a lovely golden colour. I said, 'Lovely tan.' She replied that it was natural and I said,' Well it's gorgeous.' She laughed and I laughed, because no offence was meant and none was taken.

I also told a woman that she needed to use the men's changing room...but that's another story.

Almost sounds as bad as the time my mum innocently decided to ask a waitress when her baby was due.

Her response? "I'm not pregnant..."

Sign of the times, there are some that say they cannot stand racism and ethnic minorities, cannot argue with that sort. The moment you label someone you have something contentious, a major human fault, we all have a responsibilty to oppose any sort of discrimination in whatever form it takes, it will take for ever, no harm in trying.
