Ugh feels like I'm dealing with 1 track mind kids on here. It's not /just/ about making it smaller. It's making it smaller, more unique and more appealing. Hull Tigers sounds better than Hull City. Stop focussing on the sodding letter count.

That's strange, because I'm sure that's how most of us feel about Dr Allam and his brown-nosing supporters.
And if 'City' really is such a bad name, why do Manchester City think it's good enough to start a franchise with?

Reading the name back to oneself in the forefont of the mind in (clarity) Hull City is by far and large easier to say & comprehend rather than the erstwhile 'Tigers', that is in retrospective meditative reflection a more 'zingy name'. but for global and branding & marketing to improve the stream of income to the club. and on a fortune built, SHOULD, it be successful,?! A cult following will follow, that's the hope,!! ensuring a platform, that surely should see Hull City A.F.C or whatever, a remain cash cost covering club. The name if it is , or becomes or reverts back to or shares cosignors with, another is Irrelavant..... Because NO owner has quite had the vision to promote Hull City in THIS way , in 110 years. To stay buoyant because of public support & influence. Stepping up the game and launching our club into the worldwide media or national media, or both, because WE have a product to sell to the world is the name of the game. Building a club fan base outside of the local populace, whilst being inclusive & exclusive is worth a punt. I still regard the name Hull City as 'The name', that is to all extent & purposes a detractable easier format, in which to live by and die by. But by still using a public platform (media) to build our club , the Global Media will applaud US for having the balls to try. The CITY FAITHFUL ARE THE CORE OF THE CLUB. Assem Allem.

The anti - name changers on the forum, don't need to clarify their, or any one elses, views or position , to me. I have been of an understanding, on this board for months....
How come you can never quote anyone properly?
All you do is click on 'Reply With Quote' and then type your response underneath, it couldn't be easier.
is that the best , you can do, Macca, should that read as famous last words, or that Understanding is the deluded principle of Intelligence.Too bad nobody can understand you back then.

Assem Allam appears to be as good at parking as he is at keeping the fans onside...
