If, and when he loses his appeal (I don't expect The FA's position on the name change to be reversed) he will not invest any further funds. That suggest two things. 1. That no one else is seeking to currently buy CITY and 2. that to carry out his threat potentially derails our season and the value of the clubs assets depreciates. That said its all bull**it because the current squad may not need further improvement and secondly he will still get his big payments ref TV sponsorship. So all in all the statement is somewhat meaningless! The only threat rests with Allam himself in that should CITY get relegated (which I don't expect) then it is Allam that stands to lose a bundle, something I suspect that would cause him to respond in any event to 'protect' his existing investment as he would be bl**dy stupid not to.

To paraphrase Allam: When your Premier League a full house represents 7% of your income the other 93% comes from Sky from the global market. To build a strong brand you need a shorter name.

If the first sentence is correct the second is irrelevant surely. He's saying that in order to secure 93% of our income we simply need to stay in the EPL. He's saying the brand is irrelevant in financial terms.

Bluster, bull****, and out and out blatant lies. I've always been anti name change but his arrogant buffoonery has now clearly put me in the anti Allam camp. He is an egotistical, dictatorial embarrassment to the club and it's supporters, and the sooner he can find a buyer the better. This isn't the club I have supported and loved since 1977. It's now the annoying sore at the bottom of a senile old mans list of playthings.

    He's such a boring repetitive ****.

He doesn't actually know what he's talking about, he clearly doesn't know what the name is. I wonder if he is even aware of the concept of club nicknames.

It's either deliberate ignorance, or he's genuinely thick.

    Time for Allam out chants.

Nothing here that is new - AA has spouted all of this stuff before - and certainly no need for the melodramatic reactions of some "lets go down to league 2 via the Pompey administration route." Get a grip

For those of us with a medical background in neurocognitive disorders it is obvious that the poor man is senile and is clearly suffering. I think it is shameful that his family allow him to be paraded in front of the media in the same way an elephant is cruelly used at a circus.

Ehab might finding it amusing but for the insignificant loyal supporters of Hull City AFC, it's embarrassing.

Bloke has lost the plot. Whether it's dementia or senility in his age I don't know.

Didn't he say in his press conference the other week, "Hull City, and I by that I mean the football club not the council".... Shows up his crooked intentions. As if anyone confuses the council and the club. And as if anyone refers to us by our full name Hull City Association Football Club. I wonder how Manchester United Football Club ever made it this far.... Barmpot.

    Allam out.
