If, and when he loses his appeal (I don't expect The FA's position on the name change to be reversed) he will not invest any further funds. That suggest two things. 1. That no one else is seeking to currently buy CITY and 2. that to carry out his threat potentially derails our season and the value of the clubs assets depreciates. That said its all bull**it because the current squad may not need further improvement and secondly he will still get his big payments ref TV sponsorship. So all in all the statement is somewhat meaningless! The only threat rests with Allam himself in that should CITY get relegated (which I don't expect) then it is Allam that stands to lose a bundle, something I suspect that would cause him to respond in any event to 'protect' his existing investment as he would be bl**dy stupid not to.
