If Hull City are the Tigers and the Tigers are Hull City, who are Hull Tigers?

Ugh feels like I'm dealing with 1 track mind kids on here. It's not /just/ about making it smaller. It's making it smaller, more unique and more appealing. Hull Tigers sounds better than Hull City. Stop focussing on the sodding letter count.

But it really just doesn't.

That's strange, because I'm sure that's how most of us feel about Dr Allam and his brown-nosing supporters.

And if 'City' really is such a bad name, why do Manchester City think it's good enough to start a franchise with?

:emoticon-0159-musicI guess that's why they call it the blues...

Only it doesn't, it makes it less appealing, as it brings in no new support and pisses off a lot of the existing support.

As has just been very eloquently explained by the branding expert on Talksport, who just described it as 'a rubbish idea from a man who's talked himself into a cul-de-sac'.

Reading the name back to oneself in the forefont of the mind in (clarity) Hull City is by far and large easier to say & comprehend rather than the erstwhile 'Tigers', that it is in retrospective, meditative, & reflection a more 'zingy name'. 'Tigers , that is', but for global and branding & marketing to improve the stream of income to the club. and on a fortune built, SHOULD, it be successful,?! A cult following will follow, that's the hope,!! ensuring a platform, that surely should see Hull City A.F.C or whatever, (A) remain a cash cost covering club. The name if it is , or becomes or reverts back to or shares cosignors with, another is Irrelavant..... they're one & the same. Because NO owner has quite had the vision to promote Hull City in THIS way , in 110 years. To stay buoyant because of public support & influence. Stepping up the game and launching our club into the worldwide media or national media, or both, because WE have a product to sell to the world is the name of the game. O should be seen to be So. Building a club fan base outside of the local populace, whilst being inclusive & exclusive is worth a punt. I still regard the name Hull City as 'The name', that is to all extent & purposes a detractable easier format, in which to live by and die by. But by still using a public platform (media) to build our club , the Global Media will applaud US for having the balls to try. The CITY FAITHFUL ARE THE CORE OF THE CLUB. Assem Allem.

Well, that's easy for you to say. <ok>

Fair play though, that's the best written impression of Allam talking I've seen so far.

A) it doesn't make it smaller - just the opposite B) What does more unique mean? C) it doesn't matter what side of the fence you're sat on, only his family could pretend to think what he's said is rational and commercial And D) how are you doing Ehab, long time no speak...

This post has been reported to social services, hopefully the poor lad will be in a secure unit within hours.

Quick, someone call an ambulance, this one clearly ****ing needs it.

Another classic Idiom of Assem's , I find quizzical , but true, that If any body connected to the club, wants to play politics, then,, stump up to the equivalent of £ 70m & I will let you, until then Sit down, Don't talk, & Don't f**in move... Assem knows he will never recoup the Investment in a sale, and that by that, then, his £70m is a gift, the longer HE stays, the more HE, won't want back any of the money. And that is the message to the fans, to ignite a challenging spark for the fans groups to support themselves in the media & start a catalyst of being able one day in another 110 years time to OWN the club outright themselves, Like for instance as We're seeing with P ORTSMOUTH. Shimples.

The anti - name changers on the forum, don't need to clarify their, or any one elses, views or position , to me. I have been of an understanding, on this board for months....

Assem Allam appears to be as good at parking as he is at keeping the fans onside...

He's showing how it would improve us if he made the spaces 'shorter' and 'punchier'...obviously.
