He's probably as good as we could have got at this point, Billy. It could have been a lot worse, to be fair, there are some poor english managers out there at the minute.

I just hope his experience can translate to the PL in double-quick time!

3 wins! Thats his target, 3 wins!
Well yes, I agree but with me being a natural pessimist & the way we've been playing I don't know where the next point is coming from let alone a win.
There was an ex Rangers player & ex Dutch international on the radio today who worked under him.
They both said that he's well known for kicking arse.
Wonder how that will go down with our captain?

He sounds like a disciplinarian and he is experienced, a combination that we haven't had in a long time. We've had a couple of disciplinarians but not experienced ones and vice versa.

It'll be interesting to see what he brings to the table. I'm not sure if he's used to relegation battles but as long as he whips them into shape (literally would be good in a few cases) and picks a sensible team that's all we can really ask for.

Strict but without the extremes of PDC sounds good to me. He certainly doesn`t seem the type to put up with any nonsense.

Seeing the players in their correct positions playing to their strengths would not only be a good start it would be a bloody novelty.

O'Shea will have been on his knees under the managers desk already waiting for his arrival.
