We don't know the facts yet - which makes the naming of Johnson somewhat unfair in my mind - but I can so easily picture a scenario whereby a woman claims to be older than she is, and who is going to question that? People ask for ID for alcohol purchasing but it's not the kind of question you ask in a club. If there should be some truth here, the question is whether it was intentional or unknown, and that should be decided in a courtroom and not on the front page of a newspaper or website.

If true then he's finished. We don't know the full story though. Apparently they found a gun in his house too.

I just read up the bit about the gun apparently it is legally owned by Johnson - nevertheless having a loaded gun at home makes a what is an awful news-story seem even worse !

If it were a legally owned gun then it wouldn't be 'found' or 'discovered' but it would be in its rightful place, in a secure gun cabinet and unloaded.

This could be easily be the case of him thinking that the lass were of legal age and if so then I hope that he gets the benefit of the doubt.

Three unmarked cars, a police van, plain clothes officers and crime scene investigators were reportedly at his home, so it was probably a bit of giveaway to the locals that he was being nicked. All they needed was the helicopter.

Could hardly be kept a secret in the circumstances.

If he ends up proven innocent then the stigma of being arrested may still blight this lad's career and life forever.

The media will be like a pack of hounds with this and it may hamper the court's ability to make a balanced call either way.

If it is proved beyond reasonable doubt that he did it, and knowingly... then I hope he get's everything that is coming to him.

It has been stated that the gun was legally owned..That is probably the one fact that we know at present...I'm sure the rest of the event will unfold in the coming weeks..

To be honest, I'm waiting on the day that a high profile, relevant celebrity is caught up in something like this, and then is shown to be conclusively innocent. The criminal justice system and the laws around it really needs a case like it, because once it happens, then the spotlight will fall on the media witch-hunt, which is not in the best interests of the correct verdict at all. How exactly can jurors not be biased with all the circus it's whipped up? It's a nonsense.

If you go over any forum in the world debating this topic, Nearly every single poster is saying that the person involved should not be named until proven guilty... If we are logical and reasonable enough to come to this conclusion, how are the dipshits getting millions not close to figuring it out?!

In the ideal world the persons involved wouldn't be named.
But we're in the 21st Century now in a media run world that demands that anonymity is no longer an option.
Besides, how on earth could you possibly keep issues like this out of the public domain.
In the case of a footballer, he couldn't exactly just go missing from training for a few weeks, whilst he attends court, anonymously?

Rather this, than the days where something like this would have been brushed under the carpet, as we're finding out more and more over the years.

I stand to be corrected by those who actually know but I'm sure that if she is underage it doesn't matter on whether he thinks she's of age or not. It would go towards mitigation on sentencing but not on guilt.

Agree with most that anonymity should be given to all parties in offences of this nature until a verdict is reached after a trial or a plea of guilty is entered. Sick of media witch hunts and trial by media under the pretence of the publics right to know.

Maybe thats whats happened to Ferreyra. He has been arrested for impersonating a footballer and the club are keeping it quiet until his trial is over.

What if he was 15 too? so few facts about the case! 15 year lds look older than any 15 did when I was 15!!
