Sara has already gone for 18m. Rowe potentially about to go for 7m

Not surprised Lowe is going. My Norwich supporting mate, who used to get incandescent about Gibson getting £40,000 a week said that Rowe, who scored against us and had some other good games at start of season was one of their lowest paid players on around £2,100. Maybe they haven’t upped it enough and he wants out.

Think Norwich like us are having to balance books as well. With Leeds knocking on the door and they're likely to be the powerhouse in the championship next year he slots right in where Summerville left

Must admit that Q&A was excellent.

Helped in the most part by some fantastic questions.

I think Acun saying he would rather ‘sacrifice’ 3 games and get an excellent team to be preferential to getting a mediocre team from the outset explains everything this window.

You could tell he also enjoys the thrill of the last few days of the window. High pressure time when diamonds are found.

I think this might also explain the hard hustle on transfer amounts being paid (Hughes). He’d rather backload it so he can go and get ‘another Philogene’.

My only concern is that we really bomb in the first few games and players who would consider us as an option, think again.
Exactly as I've been saying it will be.
A rebuild which may take us into the first few games due to the way the market is working.

Those who've peed the bed look pretty stupid today. It was never looking like anything else to me. Acun has learnt lessons and is making sure this time we are stable and signing real quality the manager wants.

To be fair. I'll give him his dues that he's flown in to answer questions and people like myself who were critical feel a bit better. My hope is now he delivers which I think he will. I hope he also sticks with Tim if it does get a bit hairy early on like Carrick had a bit of a wobble early last year with all new signings.

We need to get behind the manager and thr team. It's going to take time but last year was dire football and the squad was built on sand. If we are serious about being a top side in this comp we need to sign well

I think there's still an overwhelming feeling that Pandur is very much in the plans, but just not yet? He's only 24, is reasonable with his feet. Has pulled off some good saves already. But just isn't ready yet.

So Pandur isn't ready ? You mean Rosenior was right not to play him then ?

I think it's too soon to say. I honestly think from what I've seen he'd be a good choice as first choice with a better side in front of him. Seems much more assured than Allsop and Ingram, he catches balls we've seen Allsop fumble, he's confident and he's not afraid to come off his line (for better or worse).

It's put him in a bad light playing these friendlies with a severely weakened squad that are trying to adapt to a completely new way of playing, which is higher risk stuff. I honestly think he'll come good.

Someone got their chance to ask the owner anything about the club, and the best they could come up with was:

Why is Pandur playing on the halfway line? Is he stupid?

She [HASHTAG]#justsaying[/HASHTAG] ... same with the why did you sack Rosenior question :emoticon-0105-wink: (apologies HT'gress!)

The issue is the only way he gets ready is playing. We saw it with Jakupovic and even Gulacsi when he was here. Sometimes keepers mature later on. We saw a bit of improvement from Pandur in the Reading game. He just needs an old head next to him to show him some of the ropes
