I'm sorry if you were misled only many who are peeing their pants about signing an injury prone (119 games in 6 seasons) player from the Italian League who has a reported bad attitude, a not so hot goal scoring record (31 in the same six seasons) & has never played in the PL for almost £10m are the same people who thought paying £10m for a Championship player who has scored 126 goals in 219 appearances over the same six seasons was far too much to pay as he'd never played in the PL.
When you consider 83 of Hernandez's appearances & 17 of his goals have come in 5 seasons in Italy's top flight it appears a far riskier move, to me.
Rhodes, IMO, is an excellent player & would not only be a worthy & better investment (even at £15m), he would score far more goals than Hernandez ever will or Long ever would.
