So little Hull City look like signing a player wanted by Benfica, Juventus, Newcastle and Sunderland. Can everyone just let that settle in for a minute as it's mind blowing IMHO.
If this happens, we will be lucky to keep him till next season, but we will make a massive profit on him, win win for club and player
If he set off early he will soon be here. I think it's roughly 4 and a half hours/5 hours from Palermo to London Heathrow, if he is on a private plane and heading to Humberside would say 5 hours 20 mins. Who thinks he will be a good signing and would you rather sign him than Rhodes?

Any YouTube videos yet? Not convinced by this signing, he's not gong to score 20 goals for us, he's never scored 20 goals in his career. We still need another big striker signing after this one, perhaps we're bringing in both Hernandez and Rhodes?
He's playing football in a country that is renowned for Defending. He'll have that little extra time/space in the BPL. His speed is lightening and I think the quality we have in midfield will free him up and give him the space he needs. I'm excited.
He's playing in a country that has been the top scoring top division in Europe over the past decade. It is renowned for defending, but only by idiots who don't watch football outside of the EPL. He's a completely different player to Rhodes. He's quick and a creator, he's basically like-for-like Long. He'll never get more than 10 goals for us and I'd still think we'd need a goalscorer who can get one from nothing when we desperately need it. We really shouldnt have let Fryatt go.
Kristan Heneage @KHeneage Wow Hull have reportedly bid €12m for Abel Hernandez. I'd imagine Zamparini will snap their hand off for that. Very risky move for #HCFC Kristan Heneage ‏@KHeneage @dan1el88 He's a bit lazy and injury prone. Has the physical assets you want, but hasn't build on early potential. I think it's over-paying. Kristan Heneage ‏@KHeneage @dan1el88 Although in this market, with McCormack at £11m and Long at £12m maybe that's the going rate? In reality, almost none of us know enough about this fella to make any sort of judgement on the chances of him making it in the Premier League, we'll have to trust Brucey.
Yep, it's a MUCH bigger risk than Long was or Rhodes would be. I think he'll struggle living in Yorkshire, Sicily is fookin' hot and a completely different culture. He's not a gritty get your head down type who loves playing. It always seems football is a hobby to him to fund his lifestyle. I agree with the post saying it's overpaying, Zamparini wouldve taken 8million euros I'm sure and I do worry it might disrupt our tight dressing room. I've no idea if he speaks English by the way. On the plus side, he definitely gives us the 'unpredictability' element that we're lacking. We're pretty pedestrian and you can see what's going to happen most of the time, now we wont have that. I'll sum it up - it stuns me that Mario is going for just £6m more.
To get a 20 goal a season striker a club like ours at the moment is beyond our buying power, you will have to pay a lot of money to get such a player. If he can get 10-12 goals a season then he will be a good buy.
Well after reading that twitter message it sounds like he wants to come to Hull City. So he's exactly the player we need, someone who wants to be at Hull City
I had this guy on pro evo at one point. Other than that and noticing his name in the Uruguay WC squad I don't know much about him, apologies to the hipsters who that will offend. If he's as quick as you lot and pro evo seen to think then get him signed. Sounds more promising thsn than Rhodes to me. Sounds like the type of player I was worriee we wouldn't get.
