Maulled1904 who has designed this banner says he can do similar for past and present people of note.

It'd be good if we could get several banners, probably not the huge ones, but scattered around the ground like a hall of fame. It could help players to try to aspire to be among them.

See how this one goes, but the club and other supporters groups are all keen on flags, so we're pushing on an open door. The more ideas and suggestions the better. That's not just with style and content, but what to do with them during and between home games.

Boro and Wigan RL have something similar with banners and flags all over the ground over the top of the stands or top row of seats.

Happy Tiger is approving of Dutch's efforts, seriously well done. This is a marvellous idea, and its entirely down to Dutch. We've had our differences but this has stacked a s**tload of good karma for you from me.

ElTig, Happy Tiger was just not happy with CTWD ignoring a poll that didn't go in their favour. The views are REALLY clear, still.

Sorry if it bothers you that some people have opinions and standards you don't.

Enough of that, Dutch is to be commended for this, if only he was involved with the seat moving (sorry! <laugh> )!

There you go Happy, we're all Tiger fans together,we're all in this together, ooooooh group hug :emoticon-0111-blush

Think I will leave you all to bask in your mutual man love. Good god fellas get a room.

I think that whilst there's room for any number of different flags honouring all sorts of figures and moments in our history, we shouldn't forget what this particular idea started as. I thought it was about showing SB we're behind him despite recent form and giving him and the team the support they need at a tricky point in our season, when MOTD neutrals might expect us to be turning on him like the fans of Newcastle or Sunderland would do at this point.

If this leads to loads of other flags in the future then great, but I don't think the apparent success of this initial idea should lead to it changing to be something completely different from the original proposal.

Aye, I think we are at quite a critical point and this was a boost to every ones morale. I think I would be a little reticent to start stumping up to give the ground a set of flags the owners should be paying for.

Fez, I'm certain the owners would be happy for the club to buy flags. They really have been supportive of this initiative. I couldn't ask for more from them.

A significant point of this one is it's a gesture by a group of Hull City fans to create one to give to the Club. It has a stronger meaning as a gesture of support.

why put bruce on?

assuming this is a one off.. why waste the budget on a short term thing?

the clubs bigger than all! surely for a first we should get something associated with the club first..

Which is why I've said I'm supportive of this one, but would have to reconsider anything further; as I hope CTWD would.

There's been a suggestion for fans to club together to buy a big flag to display at games.

At the moment, it seems to be an amber flag with an image of Steve Bruce, with a logo of "In Bruce we Trust", but it's wide open to suggestion.

A question's arisen over how to collect the money. OLM's offered to assist, either by creating a Not606 account, or by finding out if CTWD wish to be involved. Some have said CTWD's involvement brings other issues in.

There's no suggestion that it would have any message or significance other than pure support for the manager and team.

With that in mind, what do users prefer?

A not606 banner - independent of CTWD

A banner - but with CTWD assistance

Other...

it might seem like a daft question but what do you do with it once Brucey goes?

They probably want Bruce on it cause nobody can agree on what our team should be called.

Cross that bridge then. For now it's a gesture of support.

One option could be to keep using it, along with images of other former staff held in high esteem.
