The fixings were simply a part of the conversation because you introduced it in the difficulties you gave that prevented an early solution to showing the banners, just as you gave raising and lowering, folding and unfolding, and general responsibility as another obstacle to be overcome (due to them not being required at the events of FC or other sporting events - if this has changed I have not seen you indicate this). You were condescending in calling for an engineers report from me (Balkan Tiger pointed out you were '**** stirring', he was right, IMO), but on the other hand you asked for advice which you then use in argument. There are not too many ways to break your circular thinking and argumentative style. I think it is clear, as I have already said, that the banners need an identified home and fixing before they are created - this was the mistake with the current one - but I have never criticised that - so their size/materials are appropriate to their final site. Whatever other obstacles there are you might (be able to) share or not, but it does make balanced discussion difficult if you do not.
Despite this being emphasised by me in more than one post you still refuse to accept it as my core rationale for not supporting any further banners for the immediate future. You have constantly responded to this simple question by insisting that the club (the people you talk to??) say there is no such problem and you keep making this argumentative invitation for me to attend and ask them myself, even though I have made it very clear I will not and have given my reasons for that. Let me say it again, I do not trust the paid representatives of the club to give straight and honest answers to the question, they (as do their employers) have no track record in allowing such a thing (as others, on here, have pointed out) and are still actively working to eradicate the name Hull City AFC are every opportunity they can find, so it astounds me that you believe they will now allow it on banners that will inevitably gain some quite serious publicity. Whether they say it now or not, these employees must eventually defer to the wishes of their employer and I have seen absolutely nothing to indicate that the position of the Allam's has changed - Buckingham certainly has not.
There is no purpose for me to attend your meeting, the essence of my thoughts have been presented to the club at far more significant levels and through more robust means than I can create, so your offer is pointless and you should save your time, as I have said before.
I will leave it there and will not get involved in the second thread you have created, as I would not wish to derail it; I believe any further banners that do not include our name (the one many of us are off the fence and fighting for) are too easily construed as being supportive of the name-change principal Allam is imposing and until he drops his campaign, and his background rebranding, I will keep a distance, as I believe it is a mistake, it's as simple as that.
