Snodgrass isn't out of contract this summer and I wouldn't be pissed at all if you took Johnson.
Sounds like the price on Snoddy's head is ã5m and while he's talented, I realistically see Everton, Stoke, Villa et al. spending that on someone foreign and cheaper if they're looking to get a winger for that price. As for Johnson, he's played the majority of games in central midfield; we've played a 4-2-3-1 of which he was part of the '2' with Kilkenny and Snodgrass and Gradel out on the wings either side of Howson. Bradley's definitely not someone I'd play as a winger full time, unless in a 4-4-2 diamond thing.
When played in central mid, he gets around but he's clearly a limited footballer. Like a box to box player I suppose but with no real intelligence in his tackling, passing and shooting. Sometimes he pulls off moments of brilliance but most of the time, he will get beaten by the opposition, blast his shots over the bar (a running joke at Elland Road) and his passing is often unrealistic and intercepted. Leeds and Hull could do better. And worse, I suppose. He'd be alright as backup for either side.
