Was reminding @Tel the other day about when Alan Smith snapped his leg blocking a riise special.

Yeah, that was hilarious mate.

Even funnier was the Liverpool fans trying to turn the ambulance taking Smith to hospital over, mega bantz that.

But then, you wouldn't know about that bit, eh.

Christian Ziege was another Fb I enjoyed watching...not one of the greatest but still..

back in the day the German Andreas Brehme was a colossus and probably one of the first attacking fullbacks in my memory

Beckham was 28 when he joined Real, no?

Gerrard World Class? No mate.

You think Cole would have turned down a move to one of the massive glamour clubs? No so sure like......I mean he defo loved a bit of cash......

Hence the Chavs were the perfect fit ... <cheers>

Gerrard was for the bite ... thanks for playing...<laugh>

Fact is, it is very difficult to name many better left backs in the world at the peak of Cole's career ... Leighton Baines certainly not one... but we all like to big up our own players ... so fair play to you <whistle>

Would point out, I am certainly no fan of Ashley Cole as a man ... but he was a great left back.

Does Rodriguez pass to the advertising hoardings as well?

Was too good for the Premier league that one.
Rodriguez is in the same bracket as Gotze, had a good world cup and scored a great goal, became the next big thing and slowly faded away.

Not that signings will matter one bit to any club hoping to win anything, when Messi tips up at City not for money but on £3m a week.
Im not so sure. Guess we'll see.
