nah i think he's going to be on the bench and get not much time. Similar to cancelo (although he might be playing more this season).

Ake won't be playing much this year mark my words

It's a shame if he doesn't. He is already a good cb, plays with confidence and could go on to be a top defender.

I said the same on our board, think City are still gonna get Koulibaly, with Otamendi and/ or Stones being shipped out.

I get the excitement but I'm long in the tooth and I'm just hoping we hold our own tbh. Anything from 16th upwards for the the first time in a while will do me.

Then we can look at top 4 the following season <whistle>

Many would actually welcome him back, as tbf to the fella he left in the right way, and when we blocked a move in the previous year he got his head down and got on with it.

He’s a good footballer but he’s not a great defender and never will be, i always thought he’d end up playing DM tbh.

I said on the Chelsea board a few years ago that they were mental to let him go, quite a few agreed.
The lad will be a star in a good team and it shows when he plays for Holland.

he'll get in ahead of stones and otamendi, both who aren't favoured. If you think pep isn't going to buy anymore CBs though then you're more optimistic than me

I can’t see them paying the fee for Koulibaly due to his age tbh. Could be wrong like.
