It's not so much the amount but paying it all in one go. The 100-108m isn't the issue, but United want to pay about £30m of it in add-ons.
not many clubs have the money to do that deal. I would expect it to be a late deal for 80-90m if Dortmund are so desperate for the cash.
Yeh I expect so. And that seems to explain how both are positioning themselves. Dortmund trying to put a deadline on it and United apparently saying nah we're going to wait. In the end it'll likely be as you said but I wouldn't be surprised to see Eddie buckle and fork out the lot tbh.
United have the cash and lots of players on the way out this summer clearing funds/wages. £100m is top valuation, but dont expect that to e the final amount paid - undisclosed is my guess.

If we are after him, he is just cover for Andy Robertson, who at Hull managed 2 assists per season. Would've said he's ****e too and rightly so.
