Think you obviously/deliberately missed/were too stupid to see my point about playing Villarreal and Rapid Vienna last year? And don't be giving it large about your youth team, because if you don't get shot of your owner, you may have to play your youth team in the league next season. I was merely saying that I thought your manager was wrong, so get back in you box and swallow your sour grapes.
Hello there Ponders, me old mucker. How the bloody hell are you? No quizzes on the go in the near future?
I'm pretty good, thank you, buddy. I've been studying a couple of medieval manuscripts of late, so time really has been at a premium, but I'll look to get a quiz on the go this weekend. And that's a Ponders promise. I take it all is in order on the homefront?
All good here mate. Weirdly enough, we have missed the heatwave again, which is rather strange, considering it comes from Africa. One would have thought that Malaga would be hit hard, but seemingly it jaunts up to France, UK and the Benelux countries and leaves us alone. I'm not complaining though. Think tomorrow will be around 34 degrees, but that is certainly not considered a heatwave. Old London Town will be warmer than that
Anyway, China, that's the Rangers game finished, we won 2-0. I'm off to my scratcher to read some more about Napoleon. Speak soon, amigo.
I'm not feeling too confident about the opening league game. The Steve Clarke era has ended and the Italian geezer is a reckless gamble, especially with the players we've lost. From darn sarf it looks as though Killie will struggle.
Yeah, a bit of a strange appointment. I suppose it does show ambition, but not as if there is a long list of non UK managers who have done well in Scotland. I certainly hope Killie struggle in the first game of the season!
According to that report City will want to make a profit on the £300.000 they paid out for Taylor, which is surely way beyond Bowyer's budget?
We couldn't even pay enough to Arribo to persuade him to sign a contract that would have prevented him from walking away when his old one expired. Although I believe we chose to muck him around during negotiations, so he probably wasn't too keen to sign anyway
