Billy Vladimir Arce Mina is an Ecuadorian footballer who plays for Emelec on loan from English club Brighton & Hove Albion as either a left winger or a forward. Wikipedia Height: 1.78 m Coming in on loan from Brighton.
One of the advantages of BowJackson is that Prem teams are willing to loan us their best young players because they know they will get back a better player.
Under Slade & Robinson we would be sceptical about this sort of loan, but Bowyer & Gallen have earned our trust. Ditto with the foreign lad from Plymouth ...you might think that the Championship is too big a step up, but our Dynamic Duo must have seen something.
According to a Plymouth fan Rubén Lameiras is coming in on a free. Description Rúben Barcelos De Sousa Lameiras is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a midfielder for English club Plymouth Argyle. Wikipedia Height: 1.78 m Current team: Plymouth Argyle F.C. (#11 / Midfielder)
@DickPlumb Have you heard the rumours about this striker from Spennymoor we are said to be interested in? He scored 45 goals last season. (This is not a wind up, BTW)
Yes I have heard rumours. But I don't know anything about him. Bowyer and Gallen have got a very difficult job to try to bring in about ten players on the lowest budget in the Championship. It is not going to be easy.
I remember when Millwall signed Lee Gregory from Halifax a couple of years back. There are a few gems down there, but they are few and far between, and with modern scouting nowadays, everyone knows about them. Competition is fierce. At the moment I think we are going to go a lot of games without a win in the Championship next season.
Portsmouth, Sunderland & Oxford Utd after Jason Pearce.... why would we sell him? https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/...derland-and-oxford-united-also-keen-1-8956986
Ruben Lameiras works in tandem with Graham Carey.....basically two No 10's.....he's tricky and ok for Div 1....but personally I think he would be to lightweight in the Championship......but of course he is free....wouldn't be hard to offer him higher wages than Argyle can afford....especially now that they mysteriously somehow got relegated.
Sunderland and Portsmouth playing silly buggas in their last games screwed you Plym …. it seems that neither wanted to play us in the semi's … which was understandable.
I totally agree with that Royston. We ended up where we deserved to be based on 46 games not one. The same applies to Portsmouth and Sunderland and why they will still be in league one next season. The teams that went up were 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the league at the end so that's perfect justice for me who doesn't much like play offs anyway.
Other Clubs are bound to show interest in most of our remaining players - we did just get promoted. Duchatelet will be tempted by various offers I expect. Putting aside his latest augmented utterings on the website, how much more of the decimated remains of our 2018-19 squad RD decides to cash in on will show us his true colours.
Portsmouth FC have just followed Jason Pearce on Twitter. Not good news if he leaves. We need his leadership.
