I registered just to write this post, hopefully I won't get to much banter.

I am from Trondheim, Norway (please excuse any grammatical errors) and have followed Markus Henriksen since he played in Rosenborg's academy. Originally he was schooled as a running midfielder in a classic 4-3-3. He has great stamina and composure, and is very hard-working in midfield. His father played as a CB in Rosenborg and was nicknamed Rambo for his dominant personality and courage. As his father, Markus plays with his heart, and even though he is more elegant, and have more technical quality than his father, he is not afraid to bleed for the club.

In later years he has become more of a complete midfielder, being able to play as an inverted winger on both flanks, a running midfielder and even as a forward. His best role though, is, as many of you have stated, a CAM.

I am confident that he will shine in Hull, and can only congratulate you on a superb signing.

Good luck in the premiership!

**** off ****.

Why Hull City's Markus Henriksen Could Prove To Be One Of The Signings Of The Summer

It's only HITC, but here you go:

I remember many journalists and supposed experts writing similar things about Giaccherini when he signed for Sunderland after a great Euro 2012. I remember cos I went onto their fans forum to tell them not to get carried away and he'd just had a Euros that made him look much better than he actually was at club level. Despite pointing out that i watch a hell of a lot of Italian football I was mercilessly mocked for 'thinking I knew more than experts and journalists'.

They werent laughing for long.

Other than Livermore, Maloney and Clucas defence and attack they are all midfielders.

At least you got a like off our resident 'visionary'. Whilst square pegs and round holes is ok to a point - it's not something ideal for the long term.

Are you this childish of the Internet? You really are a pathetic ****. <doh>

Do we lose him to another club if he has a great start for us? if it's a only loan? Or is guaranteed sale in Jan? Soooo many questions?????

What is it with him, he was indeed **** for Sunderland, but in one of the Euro games I watched, he looked like a world beater again?

From what I gather regarding the deal he is on loan til January but a sale has been agreed .. the only reason it was done like this was so that the incoming Chinese consortium pick up the bill so for all intent and purposes he has signed permanently

I cant even say it was good coaching cos he was distinctly average under Conte at Juve but then, as you say, did brilliantly under Conte at this summer's tournament. He just obviously loves playing for Italy.

It was the same for Fabio Grosso to be honest, totally ****e at club level but always excellent for Italy - particularly at world cup 2006 - so he never got dropped.

I had the same thought. Normally one would expect the loan agreement to be watertight but we're not dealing with normal people setting out the terms...

How do people compare the signing of Henriksen to the loss of Diame? Both for £4.5m. An upgrade? more potential? Unproven?
