Be nuts to change anything for the Burnley game,
Agree with keeping the current XI for the Burnley game all being well.

Uruguay have a match against Paraguay next Wednesday. If Abel is in the squad, he is unlikely to feature at Burnley. Bruce normally rested him after international breaks.

That's Wednesday UK time. (Midnight kick-off, I think.)

Agree with keeping the current XI for the Burnley game all being well. However, in time I see the XI changing to something on the lines of this.

Marshall
Elmo. Jake. Davies. Robbo

Thudd. Mason. Clucas.
Norway

Abel. Mbok

Big Mike's got some pleasantly difficult decisions to make now.
Errrrrrr...... Dawson!!!!?.... and Snodgrass as mentioned...

I remember many journalists and supposed experts writing similar things about Giaccherini when he signed for Sunderland after a great Euro 2012. I remember cos I went onto their fans forum to tell them not to get carried away and he'd just had a Euros that made him look much better than he actually was at club level. Despite pointing out that i watch a hell of a lot of Italian football I was mercilessly mocked for 'thinking I knew more than experts and journalists'.

They werent laughing for long.

I can't believe you was 'mercilessly mocked' !

Let's hope this bunch of new signings don't have ridiculously low release clauses in their contracts.

I registered just to write this post, hopefully I won't get to much banter.

I am from Trondheim, Norway (please excuse any grammatical errors) and have followed Markus Henriksen since he played in Rosenborg's academy. Originally he was schooled as a running midfielder in a classic 4-3-3. He has great stamina and composure, and is very hard-working in midfield. His father played as a CB in Rosenborg and was nicknamed Rambo for his dominant personality and courage. As his father, Markus plays with his heart, and even though he is more elegant, and have more technical quality than his father, he is not afraid to bleed for the club.

In later years he has become more of a complete midfielder, being able to play as an inverted winger on both flanks, a running midfielder and even as a forward. His best role though, is, as many of you have stated, a CAM.

I am confident that he will shine in Hull, and can only congratulate you on a superb signing.

Good luck in the premiership!
Good stuff, thanks.
Do you think he may help Diomande gain confidence in his career with Hull City ? How do you rate Diomande in general ?
I spent some very enjoyable times in Nord Trondelag - Malm, Steinkjer & briefly Trondheim - (even passed through Hell a few times :emoticon-0100-smile. I've followed Rosenborg ever since, so happy to see one of your players finally making it to Hull City.

Someone from Norway came on about Diomande when he joined us and sang his praises, didn't really see much till this season though. Hopefully, with this latest recruit, we'll see what he can do much sooner.

Yes 'tis true. Dio arrived injured, and what time he had playing last season he seemed nervous, almost apologetic. He seems to be growing in confidence at the moment (more playing time always helps) so with a new compatriot on board, who by all accounts is a driver, let's hope that helps him.
Be interesting to see what squib thinks.

="tigerscanada, post: 9659472, member: 1021417"]An incredibly high percentage of those saves did not end up with an opposition player...that's impressive.
He's a very good 'keeper. No idea why there is any argument about him being an improvement or not.
Much as I like Eldin,Marshall has a very good record at championship,PL,and international levels playing for less fashionable teams.Long may that continue for City.

He was never given a chance under Bruce much like many of his signings from last year.

Signings under Bruce for the last couple of years were really quite atrocious compared to how good they were in his first couple of years with us.

I can't see MP changing much, he has all this week and next to drill the players, other then the fullbacks and Dio I think he will stick with those not on international duties

Jak
Elmo Jake Curtis robbo
Clucas
Huddlestone Mason
Snodders, Dio, maloney

Mbokani will come on for Dio (hernandez been rested)
Mcguire for Clucas (Jake back in midfield(
Henricksen for Hudd
