Seriously though, as good a talent as he is, we probably wouldn't get a work permit for him unless it was as an exceptional talent. Which he may very well could be.
Sobhi's in the Egypt national team now, isn't it? I don't know much about work permits for players but being a full international helps, right?
It does to an extent, but they have to have featured in 75% of their national team games in the last 12 months.
And what about exceptional talent? Does the club have to put forward an argument that they're an exceptional talent or?
I don't know how that works to be honest, I assume it's put forward to a commitee who make he decision.
