Sohby is really good. But nobody on here will have heard of him so you blatantly only play video games and that's where you get your knowledge from. Something something stats from a video game to make you feel like a ****, something something YouTube.

Seriously though, as good a talent as he is, we probably wouldn't get a work permit for him unless it was as an exceptional talent. Which he may very well could be.

 

Sobhi's in the Egypt national team now, isn't it? I don't know much about work permits for players but being a full international helps, right?

 

It does to an extent, but they have to have featured in 75% of their national team games in the last 12 months.

 

And what about exceptional talent? Does the club have to put forward an argument that they're an exceptional talent or?

 

Just checked and Sobhi has played six out of 12 games for Egypt in the past 12 months. Mostafa Fathi has played four.

 

I don't know how that works to be honest, I assume it's put forward to a commitee who make he decision.
