Polish by a long way, they're now 2% of the population, the next biggest is Chinese with 0.5%.

Poles are everywhere in the UK as are people from most other Eastern EU Nations, far more in London.....

2 percent is nothing really is it, the way people talk you would think the streets were teeming with Eastern Europeans and Kosovans. Hopefully the Chinese figure will rise from 0.5 percent if that takeover goes through..

The reason people think there are more Eastern Europeans in Hull is because they generally live and work in the same parts of Hull. There are hardly any Poles in East Hull but there are quite a few near Spring Bank and this concentration in particular areas leads to the misconception that there are more than there actually is.
