I thought we were talking foreign buys.Hernandez was hardly an unknown either, he was being watched by the likes of Arsenal, Inter and Bayern long before we came calling and anybody with a bit of football knowledge would've heard of him.
I thought we were talking foreign buys.
Which is why I mentioned him.
Pereira is a great young player, good shot on him, fantastic free kick, very good and technical on the ball, will dig in with hard tackles and tracks back well. He is above the level of U21s (U23s or Premier B league as it is now) but plays in a position where we are over stocked with good experienced players. Not sure about his temperament if faced with a dog fight to stay up, only time would test that. I think he could be a very good player for you (or anyone really),Pereira from Man U could be loaned out Apparently He is highly rated and would be a great player to
Get.
Mail onliet ne reckon we've bid 9 million for Benjamin Moukandjo

If we are bidding for these players it would be with Chinese money.IF and its a huge IF we are really that close to being bought by the Chinese, why on earth would Ehab be looking at spending money on new players?
Lets assume the deal is 100 million for the club as it is, just as the pens come out to sign the contract Ehab says hang on we're buying this guy, you have to pay 9 million more. New contract drawn up pens at the ready Ehab says sorry guys that deal fell through but we're buying another player who costs 3 million, just sign here.

Not an ITK post, I'm using common sense. The Chinese, if the takeover is now a formality, will be keen to start funding transfers. If we have really offered 9m for a striker, that will not be Allam money.Another ITK type post, the Chinese buyers are investors and developers, have they already employed scouts to find and buy the players we need ( bearing in mind we don't have permanent manager or first team coach ) or are they taking Ehabs word and suggestions?
I just don't get it.

I believe it's a lot less than £100m and significantly less than the US offer.
you couldn't make it up! I thought the Allam's were savvy business men? Or are the Chinese "the right owners" in the Allam's eyes?
