He's hasn't scored in the league yet this season. But he has played just over 200 mins. Whereas he's scored 4 in 300 minutes in Champions League qualifying. All 3 goals in a 3-1 tie win, then the only goal over two legs to knock out Trencin.

Hernandez was hardly an unknown either, he was being watched by the likes of Arsenal, Inter and Bayern long before we came calling and anybody with a bit of football knowledge would've heard of him.

We don't need him to make up the numbers, Mick doesn't do subs! Joking aside at face value he represents (potentially) a good deal.

Three million Euros (or even Sterling) sounds cheap for someone with such a goal scoring record.

You have to wonder why LW are offloading him so cheap, even if he's out of contract next season.

Cost fits in with the theory that the 4.5m the Allams got for Diame is all they're willing to spend pre take over, I can see us signing him and one of those arseholes declaring it their final 'gift' to the Hull Tigers, which will instantly make me wish we hadn't signed him.

I'm worth far more than Nikolic is, it wouldn't be a fair trade.

They don't often demand high prices for their players, provided they make a profit. There isn't a lot of money flying around the Polish top flight, so players come and go for relatively cheap money.

And whoever changes Nikolic's wiki to say he plays for Hull Tigers is a ****.

Strikers with good strike records don't always translate. I seem to remember people telling me strikers in Norway generally do well in England. While he's started well against Leicester, Dio was being slated a fair bit last season.

Not sure why, he hardly played.
