So you're saying it's 30 percent? Hefty but another reason why we need to get plenty of clauses in play
Northern Echo have apparently said it’s been rejected aye. Lad I know knows the family and when I asked if it was true about Brighton he said “I’m saying absolutely **** all”. Not sure if that’s good or bad
Quite open knowledge their interest, goes back to the summer. It’s normal. People will want our players, we have some absolutely superb players and prospects. Nobody wanted the steam off our piss 3 years back, unless we get to PL and stay there then this is how it’s gonna be, we will constantly have players linked away, genuine or otherwise.
Woke up this morning to another 12 pages on this thread and it's mainly just posters posting about how they woke up to another 12 pages
I’ve no doubt the interest is there but I’d asked if he was going. He will 100% play Prem football, I just hope it’s with us.
I can't ever remember a time with our transfers were handled more professionally or more privately. The solicitors we have, not to mention NDAs, mean the old days of info flying around are over. These so called valuations, sell on percentages, etc are pretty much media speculation and mischief from agents imo. If there really was this alleged 'gentleman's agreement' with Man Utd, who've met Sunderland's 'valuation', he'd have left on day one of the window. That would enable Sunderland to use the money or at least avoid playing Jobe in half a dozen games when he may have been injured. There's absolutely no chance they'd have him in training, this week, only to announce his departure on the day of an important game. Jobe and his family conduct themselves professionally, I'd put money on them not being involved in anything so cheap, shabby and chaotic. There is no 'big decision' to be made in my opinion, just the usual 'end of window' hysteria. Of course clubs, including Man Utd, are interested in players. It's well known the amount of scouts, at the SOL, has increased tenfold ... ... they were pretty scarce when we had George Dobson, Wyke and co, playing
Just with his contract running down, he had rejected a contract offer, dunno how recent. I do think though it's probably because like everyone else, such as Cirkin and Neil, they're waiting on where we are.
This would be smart from both clubs sides, but I’ve never known it to happen. Would be incredibly savvy and safeguard both sides.
