Because it’s a good hotel, the Garden Hilton is good but if you’re with your family you can’t get seats in the bar after a match.
We did stay at the Hilton part of last season.
Everything I do is based on a considered reason.
We spend a fortune at the SOL, do you?

Banter is fine but you can't avoid towns because of football clubs you dislike ...

... if you did I'd only have a dozen places I could visit <laugh>

You are bang on with regards wingers. We play two always but really only have two who are good enough. Maybe Rusyn being a CF who also plays LW as well is a wise buy as he could play in the same team as Rosco.
2 wingers who rarely get to the by line and put crosses in. They prefer to cut in on favoured foot. Clubs have sussed out clarke and he has been very ineffective so far

I've "stayed" in Newcastle most of my life. I live there now. What an odd thing to say

Same mate. 2 things are completely unrelated.

We do get those both side that think there’s this divide between us as people. There isn’t.

It’s a great City, with decent people just like us, who just happen to support murdering, homophobic, sports washers.

Day to day, they sound.

Loads of players cut inside and have been "sussed out" by other clubs but are still able to be effective.

The issue to me is the players around Clarke. There was so much more movement last year which allowed him more space and more options. So far this season, we miss Amad who along with Roberts occupied much of the oppositions defence. We have also seen a lot less overlapping from Cirkin. This whole idea of the inverted right back is a bad tactic from Mowbray that affects us adversely in many ways.

Get him one on one and I'd back him always. We've left him isolated.

It was the same last season, isolated, but as you say Amad and Roberts on the other side dragged the defenders over

Agree re the inverted full back. We dont have the players for that. I felt sorry for Hume against Coventry as on a couple of occassions he was all over the shop positionally and they simply popped it round him. Hume is much better than that and I did wonder if this idea of him popping into midfield has scrambled hia brain a bit. Stones or Cancello or Alaba doing it is one thing, with all their experience and know how. Walker struggled big time with it. Massive ask of a young lad like Hume for me and it isnt looking at all good so far. I would even suggest it has caused problems for Ekwah who was following the ball at times against Coventry and looking frazzled.

Just re-reading that Charlton thread on here and it's clearly going tits up for them with Methven at the helm and I noticed Leaburn was mentioned on there as well as being mentuoned previously in this thread, would we go in for him as we all know Charlie will sell their youngsters for peanuts

I thought Clarkes decision making was poor against Ipswich and Rotherham mind. On the occasion he got the of beating his man he was hesitating instead of just putting a ball into the box then having to try and beat them again. I lost count of how many times Donacien had him all the way to the byline.

Why as a Sunderland supporter would you stay in Newcastle
You really just come on to wind folk up dont you?

I wasnt born in sunderland and i've never lived there so does that make me any less of a supporter than someone who lives in sunderland?

Im sunderland through and through, been brought up with a sunderland daft dad n grandparents with family who are season ticket holders - doesnt matter that i dont live there
