My wife's from Boldon and definitely a mix of black and ****e and usIt sounds as if he hasn’t travelled much and lives in a bubble.
Still each to their own.
When I lived in Boldon Colliery our road was made up of both sets of fans, it wasn’t an issue then.
Things change.
Yet he set up both goals v Rotherham
I have been a Sunderland supporter all my life and not lived in Sunderland. I fail to see the pointWhy as a Sunderland supporter would you stay in Newcastle
He could do one thing every game and if it resulted in the winner then he’s well worth it. He’s an excellent player, probably, now amad gone , the most skilful in the squad and our most saleable asset.1 successful dribble and 1 accurate cross all game..
1 successful dribble and 0 accurate crosses against Ipswich.

I lived in Boldon for 40 years and it's a reasonably fair split between the fans. It's generally really good on Derby day and have seen a few interesting conversations depending on who won, but even after the heated discussions it often ended with a pint whilst nursing a fat lip or black eye. Maybe not so bad now but I still have some great mates who happen to support them up the road.It sounds as if he hasn’t travelled much and lives in a bubble.

Beat his man and crossed to the far post to set up Neil's header for Jobe's 1st
Slide rule pass through to Dack to set up Jobe's 2nd
Won and scored penalty v Preston
Is Clarke the new boo-boy is he? Not good enough etc?Didnt beat anyone for the first goal, he tried to cut inside and the defender tackled him sending the ball back and he floated one in.
For the second he played a simple ball to Dack after cutting inside and getting closed down, trying to play someone else in and having it intercepted then Ekwah won the ball back and Clarke played the ball to Dack who done the hard part..
East Boldon has always been much more Sunderland than Newcastle, still is.I lived in Boldon for 40 years and it's a reasonably fair split between the fans. I'm a boldon ladAnd I would be stuffed, living in Coventry as a guy from Bolton Colliery.

Clarke has credit in the bank because of his performances and Ba hasnt yet (probably down to lack of minutes compared to clarke)And that comment is exactly what I’ve spoke about for the last few days. Can’t say when someone decent has a ****e game because sections of our fan base jump straight to their defence it’s embarrassing. It doesn’t matter how good someone normally is, we’re all adults here it’s alright to admit when someone’s out of form.
He had a single successful cross out of 10 attempts across 2 games and beat his man just twice in 180 minutes. That’s poor no matter how good he normally is.
Ba could’ve played Bellingham in and didn’t so now he’s ****e and should be loaned out yet Clarke could’ve played Hemir in for a free shot on goal but it’s fine cos it’s Clarke and he was good last season so he can be ****e all he wants and gets a free pass.
Clarke has not been "playing ****e" - that is a ridiculous statement to make. He's an extremely talented, if sometimes frustrating player but even when he's not necessarily at his best he's still our best outlet. The only agenda here is people defending their favourites when they’re playing ****e because they aren’t adult enough to judge our players evenly.
Clarke is probably the best player in our team. I have no agenda whatsoever I just call a spade a spade.

The success cross stat is one of the worst stats to monitor tbh. All it means is your player got on the end of it, so you could over hit a cross that goes to our rb way out wide n it counts as a succesful cross. Or you could play an amazing whipped cross behind the defence that your forward just misses n its cleared by tue defender at the back post - thats an incomplete cross despite it being a dangerous one
I agree clarke hasnt been at the level of last season but hes still causing problems, it was a great cross for jobes 1st against rotherham n hes still creating chances for himself n his teammates every game
