Just confused at what that means for Ingram and Cartwright. Other positions I understand as you can get minutes off the bench to develop, but it seems odd with keepers. I can't remember the last time we owned three young keepers which we could if/when we make Baxter permanent.
1 - I never had a go at you, I asked you to explain why you'd come to that conclusion from a run of the mill typical sound bite comment.
2- I've not suggested he's leaving ( there's always a chance any player can / will leave )
3- the fact you are using the Maguire fee and Bowen fee to say defenders go for the same fees as attackers is laughable.... Bowen was a championship player moving to the prem and Maguire was ( at the time ) one of the best CBs in the country and man utd vastly over paid. If your going to try and use something to prove your argument at least do better then that and compare apples to apples at least.
Can't think of many that have three competing for a starting spot, can you name some examples?

I'm asking about the fact we'd have four senior keepers in the summer as we have an option on Baxter. It's a simple question. Why the overreaction?
He's just speculating that that's the kind of bid we might start thinking about if one comes in.
But when I speculated that he might not sign a new deal I was making mountains out of molehills? I see.
Clearly one or the other will probably be out on loan next season for experience.

Probably are at this stage as a bid like that hasn't come in, and there's no suggestion he's pushing for a move.
Didn't you just say 'To suggest we'd sell him for anything south of 12-15m is madness.'? Either way, you're completely against 8 million but 10 million would be fine? Doesn't seem a great argument
