Very few clubs will have played their preferred first choice 11 by the end of the window on the first day of the season. Its not unusual.

As far as I know, they eat together at lunchtime after training, but in the evening they sort themselves out. If you are living in a hotel, which is where he probably is at present, you either eat in the restaurant there or go out to one. Unless you are stalking him, how do you know what he is eating, restaurants do serve low-calorie food also?
