We wouldn’t even be having this conversation about envelopes if we had signed some more players. People are just frustrated and wanting to have more things to complain about to further justify their frustration.

I do understand why some would look at it and think “nothings changed”. But they wouldn’t be thinking that if they’d got the signings they wanted.

The entire club is being changed by the new owner, there's a pandemic, we're in a transfer window and the new season a few days away ... you may be right.

ha that would be good (well tomorrow would be so they can play on Saturday). But I’m not expecting a signing this week. Maybe one next week. Then two in final week and another couple on deadline day.

I think doyle came in before the “sleepless nights” comment so it hadn’t moved from then.

I still remember when Bob said we wouldn’t sign anybody until 20th June and it felt like ages away and way too late
