As opposed to whatever happens it's not Holgate's fault, yes. If there is no evidence that Bobby said anything racist (unlike the Suarez case of there being no evidence of him saying anything except that he immediately owned up to) then the burden of proof should switch to Holgate and his motivation for making this up. The stakes are that high - if Firmino has racially abused him his career with Liverpool should be over: if Holgate has made it up to avoid punishment (and don't give us that crap about a 'misunderstanding') then his should be.
