It might well be bollocks, but it is just what I posted in the past. It might be bollocks but, you know and everyone knows that it is a compromise that many will accept. It might be bollocks but it's a step forward and not a step backwards.
It might be your opinion, but it's certainly not one that's held by most, it was abundantly clear during the CTWD campaign that Hull Tigers and Hull City Tigers were held in equal contempt.
The only step forward will be using the name of the ****ing club, like any right minded person would be doing already.
What the hell are some on about? It's no attempt to placate. It's no olive branch. It's nothing new. Read it. It's nothing other than them continuing to blatantly refer to us as 'Hull City Tigers' . Allams, **** right off. Utter ****s.
To be honest I hope Ehab never uses the name 'Hull City' ever again. The guy is so far beneath contempt he doesn't deserve to call the greatest club in the world by it's actual name. It'd be quite sickening. He is Hull City Tigers, we are Hull City. So he can take his Hull City Tigers and Hull Tigers and **** off under a rock in a large field near Melton. #dontgetcomplacent #wearehullcity #allamsout
Can't agree I'm afraid They'd just started using the right name for the twitter account, stopped referring to us as Tigers and added the 'The' which makes it clear it's a nickname. Nowhere near enough of course, but there were tiny micro steps in the right direction In my mind this is a big step backward
It is a step forward to becoming Hull Tigers. They may be ****s but they are not daft. Edit. To be fair i think you and a few others did say you would accept it as a compromise. Totally stupid thing to do mind but there you go.
It's not a wum. I do not support or condone its use but I believe that many will see Hull City being used and ignore Tigers.
When you say 'many', how many? I'd plump for none. Why would they? That ticket says Hull City Tigers. What do you see Mel?
I see the use of City in the club name as being vital. In fact wasn't one of the main reasons touted that they had dropped City because of the council.
I had to think hard to recall that tickets for Hull City would have AFC on them. Or did they? That's my point Hull City, not a badge not. Hull Tigers. Perhaps I think that our support is more fickle than you. I spend time talking to supporters before games, you are wrong. Hardly any support the use of Hull Tigers, but there are plenty who would not do anything to stop it. I would say they would see Hull City and not notice Tigers until it was pointed out, just like I cannot recall what it said on the tickets, except that it said Hull City.
