Some people may be able to kid themselves that it's better than just saying Tigers...but it really isn't

apparently the Allams went to watch training this morning
 
I thought we'd always been against Hull City Tigers. Amazed that anyone thinks it's now a good thing or somehow a concession by the club.
Speak for yourself, I posted right from the start of this that Hull City Tigers was a compromise that many would accept.
I have a feeling that if the original name change bid had been for Hull City Tigers it would have got through.
Do I like it, not really, can I live with it, probably, would I use it, no. Would I buy merchandise with it on? No.
There again, I don't use Hull City AFC and never really have.
For me the loss of City in the name was the important issue.
