Actually with a bit of googling, your figures are much closer than mine, so I do concede. And yes I did always accept that 10% figure. Percentage of paedo victims does depend on the definition of paedophilia though. Had I been sober, I should have challenged the relevance of the connection between the two figures. And the fact others have and you haven't responded maybe suggests you aren't so sure!
Apparently, a Q (for questioning) is to be added to the LGBT. That could really distort the figures. In my extensive research (I googled a couple of times) for this thread, psychiatrists believe that paedophilia is actually a sexually orientation, so LGBTQP.
I think the idea is that LGBT is a group of sexual orientations (and I agree that T isn't that really) that suffer similar issues. However if you were just listing them you could add loads surely? HLGBTPBN etc?
Bloody hell I see what you mean. Going by purely his own definition of a 'reaaaaal maaaan', he may now have slipped into the 'Q' category
A few seasons back, in Polar Bear after one game, some guy thought he'd demonstrate his machismo toward the drag act. It was funny as **** watching him slink shame faced out the door when he lost the verbal dual by a long, long way, and then realised not one person in the pub was on his side, and the drag artist was a big bloke.
I found it worrying that he considers the decision to fire off a prominent ex-world champion from his high profile & influential position at a major world wide TV network for suggesting victims of child abuse are not real men because they haven't physically abused the "poofs" that abused them, since they turned adult, as political correctness gone mad. TC dealt with him well.
Ye never take them on. I got hammered by one and i was only walking across the floor to go for a piss, believe me i'd been trying to hold it in for ages, ripped me to shreds. Funny mind.
It was funny enough watching him get verbally chewed up, but he wanted to get physical, but had to go round the pub trying to find a 'friend' when he realised he was out of his depth against a bloke in a frock.
Yes, maybe its the profession I'm in not wanting to miss anyone out. . A quick google of LGBTQ does actually define the Q as 'queer', and its those that experience 'fluidity'. I thought queer was a very 80's, offensive label.
