A lot of truth in what you say. However, at this point in time, nothing and nobody was going to change the minds of those who thought that voting leave was the way to rid themselves of the 'darkies and the muzzies'.

Those people were always firmly in the pockets of Nige and The Daily Nazi...

Yeah but look at the demographic of Leave voters, if, as you maintain, and I can probably agree with, that a lot of them were anti immigrationists, look at the ages of the leave voters....amongst 20-40 years olds, the Leave percentage was around 35%, then when you got to 40+ that number rose to 60 odd percent.
These people who are brainwashed by ****rags like the Daily Fail......they are old, and they are set in their ways (Like Pete for example), and you cannot tell them anything.
But the thing is, they are older generation, who will be dead a lot sooner than those who voted remain.
Now on that particular issue, I was for Leave, but if the Right = Leave, Left = Remain belief holds true, then the UK is in for far more leftism in its future.

I get that right, especially far right (Tubby, Dull, Nazi boy, etc ) equates with leave for reasons varying from immigrants to 'getting their country back'

But I'm not sure left necessarily equates with remain. Largely, the centre left, probably yes. But is Corbyn really a remainder? I don't think so, despite what he may claim.

Nah Corbyn despises the EU.
He just came out and supported it half arsed to shut up the dissenters in the Labour crowd and to tow the party line.

It was a stupid move tbh, he would have won over a lot of people if he had come out in favour of leave.
He could have done with the profile boost that would have stemmed from it as well.
Labour were not involved enough in the pre referendum debates, that was one of the reasons the party were pissed at Corbyn and tried to oust him (unsuccessfully).
He will almost certainly have my vote at the next GE if he is still Labour Leader.
 
So now May is going to reveal her plans for Brexit before A50. What happened to not showing our hand? Embarrassing for Pete or it would be if he lived in the real world.

I can't go with that. Corbyn should have towed the party line, or got the **** out. He won't, of course, because he's delusional.

Go ahead and vote for him if you feel that strongly. Personally, and I was there, he's a 1970's throwback still living the 1970's with his stupid Lenin cap, etc.

He's totally unelectable, IMO. And if Labour go into the next GE with him and his Marxist cronies at the helm, they'll be obliterated electorally.

A shame really, because this Gvt is grossly divided and even more grossly incompetent. A far more moderate Labour agenda would have every chance of winning.

I just really don't like the Tory governments of recent years.
I suppose I will give May longer, but I am not holding out high hopes.

The Victorians had quite an open policy on things such as homosexuality and drugs and immigration was pretty much open door, largely because it was controlled as you had to be self supporting.

Probably coincidental, but the change started to occur at a similar time to the early days of the labour party.
