Though you won't see this, my issue with it is that it wasn't complicated enough, hence why I agree with those pushing for a second referendum to decide the priorities for Brexit. Brexit of some description should happen as it's what 'the people' want but interpreting that as wanting hard Brexit is wrong IMO.

    From the BBC

Downing Street has accepted Labour's attempt to force the prime minister to publish a plan for Brexit before Article 50 is triggered.

But government sources are not committing Prime Minister Theresa May to publish any specific form of document on any specific timetable, apart from saying that it will be before Article 50.

And ministers are challenging Labour MPs and potential Tory rebels to back the timetable to trigger Article 50 by the end of March in return.

Sources also say by accepting Labour's amendment, the government is not agreeing to give MPs a vote before the process of leaving the EU begins.

Sorry, over 40s are wise to the world and under 30s are wet behind their ears.

The UK is moving to the right not the left

Just a bit of thigh above the knee, should negotiations begin to stall.

    I didn't dismiss your comment.
Carneys statement was about a risk to service sector jobs, I agree with him, you do not and the reason you give is that because it hasn't happened so far then it won't happen in the near future. To me that's like claiming there won't be a communication revolution in 1989 and ignoring the 2 million drop in employment numbers between 1990 and 1995. I don't deny that this change has also subsequently lead to other jobs, but if you read Carneys statement that is exactly what he is saying.
'Every technological revolution mercilessly destroys jobs well before the new ones emerge'

My view is that the trigger for genuine change to society will be autonomous vehicles.
I stated that lots of companies are putting huge sums of money into it and that pilot projects have been set up at various locations. Notably Amazon are not one of them, although they talk plenty.
I have given examples of this research and claims by various companies that they will have vehicles on the road in 2021.

So unless you can find something in my posts that says the technology is fully mature and being rolled out today then your whole rant is irrelevant.
Where we have completely disagreed is on the current obstacles to a roll out of these vehicles, it is my belief that these obstacles are being tested like never before so the solutions aren't as far away as you prefer to believe.

There was a complete correlation in the leave vote as age rose so did the leave percentage of the vote.

The most galling part of this for me, was the working man being taken for a ride by far right Tories championing the leave cause. ****s like Rees Mogg being quoted by the working class voter for example, what an absolute joke.

As these people won't be affected by the economic fallout from Brexit one iota. Neither will the wealthy, we'll take 2 holidays instead of 3, or change the car a year later. Maybe have one less meal out a month. A drop in disposable income is going to yield no actual pain whatsoever.

Meanwhile the gullible working class, who were ****ed off with the status quo and were lead to believe that Brexit would somehow be the change that made their lives tangibly better, by the far right Tories and non domicile Billionaire newspaper owners who'd prefer the Govt to be under their control, rather than Brussels having a say - as they have no influence there. These are the people who will suffer. A drop in income or an equivalent rise in inflation will hit these people hard, as they have little disposable income as it is. Turkeys voting for ****ing Christmas, lead by a pack of lies. Democracy my arse.
