I think from memory we had Long and Jelly .. I also seem to think we were offering a further year from rumours at the time but didn't he get an extended contract at Forrest

Bottom line: he left the club to play for someone else and his injury problems re-emerged

The most important thing being that we can be sure that whatever was claimed in the report of the early eighties you don't remember, the Met were found to be institutionally racist at the time of the Lawrence murder investigation and that successive Met Commissioners right up to the current one have admitted that they still are.

I am finding it interesting the people, and type of people, who seem happy to either accept or pretend casual racism doesn't exist.

Erm. No? It was aimed at the people who were arguing against PLT anyway and decided that in order to strengthen their point, they'd play the race card.
 
Good to see the **** who provoked him into the head push get the winner tonight, along with his team's two red cards, what looked like a good goal, disallowed & Rafa whinging.

Casual racism WAS the important thing here, certainly to me, and given subsequent responses I feel more than vindicated in highlighting it.

I note PLTs response just above, and it saddens me tbh.

It also saddens me to think he's more like his arch enemies, the Allams, than he would admit personality wise.

I don't need to explain where I am on any form of racism, ageism or Happy Tigerism.
