Just as an aside .. I believe it was in the early 80s the Met Police were investigated for racism .. the charge being that something like 80% of those searched were black males aged between 16 and 25 and the searches were conducted between 2000hrs and 0600hrs .. all sorts of protest groups had them ready for lynching .. until the Met produced evidence documenting that over 90% of crime between those times was committed by black males aged between 16 and 25 .. suffice to say NFA occurred !
1/4 people searched in London are black. And yet the police find more drugs and weapons on black people. Now this doesn't mean I want to engage in a discussion with you cause I don't.
Except that in his latest presser he's said that he might not play with a centre forward. I thought Aluko had ****ed off to Fulham?
No, you would be better off conversing with similarly intellectually challenged people like yourself who don't understand things like percentages. I wouldn't want to get into discussions with intellectually superior people who made me look daft either. If such a person existed of course.
Source? Don't know what report of the early 80's you might be referring to but any implication that the Met somehow refuted the allegations of racism is false. The conclusions of the McPherson report of 1999 finding the Met to be "institutionally racist". The situation being little changed by 2015 when even the Mets own boss admitted "some justification to allegations that the Metropolitan police is institutionally racist". --- As for the Mbokani question, I don't see how he would be missed. With almost every ball played up for him he is either beaten in the air by the defender or it bounces of him at some unpredictable angle. One of the most noticeable aspects of his style being that he hardly even tries to jump for the high balls. Admittedly this leads to him being fouled quite often as he often makes a back for the defender, but they are rarely called. He seems to prefer to try to take it on his chest or feet where unfortunately his obvious lack of control means it bounces off to the nearest opposition defender. I have been particularly closely watching this aspect of his game as I had high hopes of him proving to be good hold up player. But there have been no more than about 3 occasions in the past three games where a long ball played to him has then reached a city player. And at least two of them were miss controls. In fact his best contribution so far has been his miss control to Dawson to score against West Brom. Obviously others have a different opinion if they think he is a good hold up player and is doing ok with little support. I can't imagine where they get the idea. Is it possible to see his stats anywhere? Pass completion in particular? I would also have thought that one of the definitions of a good hold up player is that they can do it with little support.
Poor GE, still doesn't get why his post was nonsense. Anyone got a 10 year old they can get to come on and explain it to him?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_and_crime_in_the_United_Kingdom pick the bones out of this - seems to suggest there are 6 times more black people in prison as a percentage of their level in society as a whole
Just take it for granted that we know everything was better in your day and you don't have to keep telling us
Think you'll find the Macpherson report was in response to the death of Stephen LAWRENCE and correctly identified that in 1993 there were flaws in the investigation not least racisnm .. however the stat i referred to preceed this report by some 20 years or so .. and no i cant remeber where i read it before you ask .. but thanks for your input.
2 mags off in first half - moaning about getting sent off for retaliation - forest missed both pens - useless ****s
Compared to offloading Hobbs so we could get Junior was probably the ****tesr piece of business I've known
