Didn't realise the Muppets were on tonight!

Its time to make some music, its time to light the lights, its time to get things started on the colu show tonight.

I really fail to see how anybody of the yellow and green persuasion can disagree with a single word of this. It's pretty much the stark reality of where we're at as a team.

Fair comment Dave and I have to say that whilst I only go to home games, I'm more inclined to agree with ILD's match summary.
And yes, I feel that money and the desire for instant success has RUINED football, but unfortunately, there's no going back.

Can't really argue with any of that ILD
Yes, I expect it can, but I would prefer to pay a little more for something such as Bishop's Farewell.

Edit - thanks colu_mike, I fully expect to be back at the bookies around 5pm tomorrow evening to collect my winnings!! <ok>

Just don't get the Pale Ale thing, especially when Adnams do "Broadside".

I used to enjoy Broadside until about 3 years ago and then the pale ales (almost lager colour) started to appear and I have to admit that I prefer those.

I'm the same as you, squire. Not so much Ghost Ship, that's way too hoppy for me, I need 2 pints of water after 1 pint of that! Love Once Bittern, Sundew, Bure Gold, all from Woodfordes, but also Broadland Sunrise and Swallowtail, from Humpty Dumpty in Reedham are my joint faves (of local options) <ok> <cheers>

Several other articles from the EDP website and this one by Ian Clarke is worth reading - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic..._the_future_to_rekindle_team_spirit_1_4789849

“While Neil has felt the full force of the fans’ wrath, the players can in no way escape criticism.
Several are internationals, plenty of them have top-flight experience and they all get very handsomely rewarded. Neil has a vital role in getting the best out of them and creating a team. Those men, however, must take responsibility in giving their all and using their undoubted talents when they cross the white line.

Going back to the festive video from 27 years ago (which popped up on Twitter this week), it showed me a critical ingredient currently missing for City – team spirit.
Of course things weren’t perfect for the squad of ‘89.
However, those boys (and successful other teams since) had a tangible togetherness.
The video showed the great story of Dean Coney having to dress up and take Christmas turkeys to all the other players and sing a festive song to their children after losing a football/golf contest. There was banter galore with plenty of big characters and those guys – such as Andy Townsend, Robert Fleck, Robert Rosario and Bryan Gunn – clearly had a bond.
That resulted in a team which went to Anfield and secured a 0-0 draw against a Liverpool team who had just scored nine goals against Palace. They beat Chelsea 2-0 (and the Blues boss said City were the best team he’d faced that season). They played fabulous, fast-paced football in a 2-2 draw with Spurs and dug in in epic fashion to earn a 4-4 draw against Southampton.

Were those players better on paper than today’s squad?
    And this one

Not one of the comments agree with him!!!!!

And from recent articles in local press, none of the journalists seem to be fooled by these shallow words of 'togetherness' oft spouted - but never visible between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
This was from Nov 22nd, but absolutely nothing has changed since then - apart from Ed Balls endorsing the board's belief in AN's ability to sort it all out. Based on what, exactly?
The cushy little world of status quo, is all I can assume.
As the Hues Corporation once said "Don't rock the boat baby"! <doh>

And none of the fans are being fooled by AN's words either.
Even if by some fluke, AN was to turn our fortunes round over the next few games or whenever, I'd still rather we replaced him.
He mentions the fact that the younger players are getting their chance, but only ever on the bench and perhaps a scant few minutes towards the end of a game.
Why not play them from the start and if they do make a mistake, it can't be any worse than the likes of Martin seem to make in almost every other game????
