I don't want Studge to go.. we're gonna need him to maintain a top 4 push (keeping the T-word out of it...), with Ings injured and if he was to go, that would leave us VERY light up front, unless of course Klopp as someone lined up to replace him.
Also, if we got 30m for Benteke, we ain't selling Sturridge for less, no bloody way!

Benteke is marketable, and even if not right for us, fits long ball teams. Sturridge isn't really good enough for anyone with European ambition anymore. Every once in a while he does really well but it's 2 bad games for one good game (and that's when he's not injured).

20mill for Studge would be fair.

Wonder if any substance to the rumours for the Iranian Assmoon striker. Seen a lot of mentions of him today.

Now, according to reports going on in the media, the German boss is looking to sign another center half for the Reds in the winter transfer window.
According to Daily Star, Klopp is confident about agreeing the signing of Southampton star Virgil van Dijk in January. Liverpool just love to sign players from the Saints. Not to forget, stars like Lallana, Clyne, Lovren and Mane were lured from Southampton.
The 25-year-old Netherlands star has been brilliant for the Saints since completing his move from Celtic last year.
At the moment, he is in top form for Claude Puel’s team. Few weeks back, the Southampton boss highly praised van Dijk and claimed (Mirror).
“Virgil Van Dijk has everything, he is a monster physically, he wins everything in the air, he is intelligent, technical. He can become one of the five best defenders in the world.”
The Merseysiders must act swiftly if they are to sign the Dutch international because even arch rivals Manchester United are interested in hiring the services of the £30million rated (€35million) in the winter window (via Mirror).

Old person measurement.

(Yanks use it too). I hadn't heard of it till I moved here either although my parents had.

Quart is a quarter of a gallon or 2 pints (in the US at least). US gallons are different to real gallons though so might not be quarter of a gallon there.

Or a stein

<yikes>..........kidding right?.........................I would start the bidding at £35m, but would prefer to keep

Hope so. you get £20 mill now days for potential not proven.

Think we will be lucky to get more than £30 mill for him but definitely more than £20 mill.

I forgot about Sahko....I'd give £20m and him for VVD. I'd also loan Sturridge to them if it meant getting him, although only know if we have a replacement for the squad to do so.

We still need a LB too. If anything happens to Milner, we are very exposed in that position.

Ibe went for £15m.... Sturridge hasn't had injury problems for a while. At right team guy will be scoring 20 league goals every season.

I dont want want to get rid of him, junk he still has a huge part to play and is or only natural striker (other than ings) but if club sold him would be disappointed not to get at least what we got for Benteke.

Replacing him would cost at least that unless found a bargain somewhere.

Does it annoy you more if I told you that the correct British spelling was marked with the red squiggly line underneath it, so I changed it to the American spelling because I knew someone (most likely you) would pick up on it?
No. That would just tell me you've got the wrong spell-check settings. <ok>
