Fifa's disciplinary committee is believed to be examining a range of issues relating to England's World Cup qualifying game against Scotland. Both associations have been charged and it is understood the Football Association has been notified that pre-match events on Armistice Day are also under scrutiny. This would potentially include the display of poppies on big screens in Wembley, the minute silence, the playing of the Last Post and handing poppy t-shirts out to the crowd.
They're ****ing incredible are FIFA. They even came out and said the media were blowing it out of proportion and they'd not told England and Scotland not to wear poppies, but they couldn't state what would and wouldn't be allowed ahead of time. Then they come out and charge them afterwards, surprise surprise. They just love dicking the British about, but were so hurt by being criticised by the media for it that they came up with that bollocks about how unfair it was that they were being portrayed as villains and they're actually the victims. Very Allam-like actually.
another thing i got to mention strachan played gordon for no reason whatsoever had no effect on the result but he's a little ****, soon as gordon can play he puts him in straight away, strachan should **** off, cant even beat lithuania ffs i feel for marshall. he should have played then again mcgregor is a much better keeper than marshall and should promptly put to number 1 when fit
FiFA what ****ing clowns they are. I wish there was a way of getting rid and totally starting again for the sake of football. ****ing Tossers.
Two days either side of the game with prohibition and Humberside Police declaring martial law judging by the panic that 500 Antwerp caused them. Didn't Humberside plod veto a game against .Rangers or Celtic a few years back?
Yes, could have been. Made you realise why we may not have been considered as a World Cup venue given Humberside's admission they couldn't deal with a few hundred Scots, never mind tens of thousands of marauding Poles, Russians Germans...
FIFA management should be charged with mind-bending use of poppies ... please log in to view this image
Fine. Have the money. Stick it in some corrupt official's back pocket. Spend it on football development in Papua New Guinea. Blow it on the staff Christmas party. Whatever. Don't give a ****. 'Cos we'll all stand proudly wearing the self same poppy next year. And remembering. Remembering that people, on both sides, lost their lives. To ensure a free world where people are able to come up with utter nonsense like poppy banning, without being censored. You've got to smile really. RIP The Many.
I agree with the above posts, but it still really irritates me that we've had to pay a fine at all. It's complete bullshit and principally so wrong. It also shows that FIFA haven't got over their anti-British obsession.
