I think the main hope is still getting sold and bringing people in during January who can help turn things around.
I'd like to think that too, but even if (and it seems a big if) we do get new owners and they spend a fair bit of coin (they'd need to !), I'm not sure I have much confidence in Phelan getting the new recruits to gel and function well as a team. He's too timid.

The fans that booed at half time are morons and should be ashamed.

Marshall-OUTers have gone quiet.

I thought Mason did well. He drew fouls which saw three of their players booked. He's a good, tidy player with a low centre of gravity and, therefore, tricky to win the ball from.

Henriksen's first game saw him throwing tackles in left, right and centre. Think he's been told to calm it down as today his first tackle came after our second goal. He does seem to be a more attacking player and looked lost in that middle three of midfield when in 3-5-2.

Livermore was excellent. Never stopped running. Chased everything.

Liking the look of Mbokani. Proper nuisance.

Clucas doesn't look too comfortable at left-back. Play Tymon, Phelan... Clucas is excellent in front of the centre backs.

Getting fed up with some of the fans at that stadium. I seem to be surrounded by some right know-it-alls who actually are clueless. Two behind me and another one on the opposite side of the stairs.

What stand do you sit in? I'm not going to go quiet on Marshall on the back of one half decent game!!

At least Jak would have saved the penalty<laugh><laugh>

Henriksen hasn't really done anything wrong yet, he's tidy and works hard, but I was expecting more in the attacking department. I don't know if his current position simply restricts him from getting too involved further forward, same with Mason.
I didn't say he was doing anything wrong. I just thought he was largely anonymous
I barely noticed him, which can't be good. And I was relatively sober and paying attention ( which is definitely not good!)

as things stand, we've played 5 of the top 8 and lost all 5, and we've taken 10 points from 6 games against the other 12.

or, we've played 7 of the top 10, for a win and a draw, and 4 of the bottom 10, for 2 wins and 2 losses.

The gate was announced as 17769. I remember the day the KC had its lowest league attendance, about 12k. It looked and sounded that empty today.

I carefully phrased my response to include the possibility of a new manager as well. :D I wonder if we even get more from some of the present players.

Whoever ( if anyone ever ) takes over has got a massive job on to get the crowds anywhere near capacity.
I think these ****S have done some serious damage.

Yep. Booing used to be a really significant thing that only happened very rarely. Now it's whenever a team is losing at home they get booed off. While people on message boards say it's the worst game they've ever seen and brag about how very disinterested they are and won't be watching much longer cos they've got better things to do. It's ****ing pathetic.
