Agree, the 1st lot of subs were made early which was a bold move as most managers will wait to 65 plus. Clearly saw we were not improving and subs made a massive difference. I love watching Alfie play, and was a fantastic outlet last night, winning lots of free kicks in the closing minutes. Jimmy got taken apart in 1st half by Vaughan who looked a really good player, luckily he didn't get to involved 2nd half. Loved Ronnie, definitely finding his feet now, very composed display especially with ball at his feet. Fox is solid, slow but solid. Thought Paal had one of his better games, putting in a great shift defensively and getting forward a lot more in 2nd half. Varane was awesome, Field and Morgan OK. Chair needs a goal, however tactics 1st half really bizarre. When Paal had the ball defensively Chair moved inside , I assume to make space for Kolli to run out wide, but this never happened. When Chair did stay wide he wasn't making a run,so when the ball came to him no one was within 30yds so he always ended up playing a defensive pass. Tactics were changed 2nd half to become a more attacking outfit, however Saito played a lot better in that position than Chair. Tactics don't suit Kolli whatsoever so Alfie or Frey should start. Ashby had a shocker however at least tried to tackle and pass forward unlike the non footballer who shall not be named. Nardi I think is one of the best goalies we have had for a while. My 1st victory of the season and my daughter's 1st ever she loved it, apart from being caught by a flying limb when Paal scored. Onwards and upwards

Oh how the mood has changed. Let's not get carried away. Confidence and playing for each other comes with a bit of luck. We had a massive long-term injury list, kept hitting the woodwork, the ball bouncing the wrong way and meeting goalkeepers playing the game of their lives. Our squad was wafer thin last year. This year it is better because we have some good youngsters (at last!) willing and able to take their opportunities. However we are only a couple more injuries away from crisis point again. Playoffs would be at least one nice day out but frankly, I don't give a toss this season. Clearly we are not going to be ready for the Premier League so equally not going to get in a lather about whether we get into the playoffs by May or not. Relaxed of Yorkshire
This is the time to get carried away and I shall do so until the disappointment of tomorrow’s 1-2 defeat at 4:55pm so a good 26 hours or so to enjoy.
