The thing that worry's me most regards the buy out, is that the Allam's have a history of moving the goal post at the 11th hour ( Long, Gray and the Yanks) .

Not as worrying as the potential new owners also favouring the "Tiger" brand and carrying on where the Allams left off.

At face value the debt owed to Allamhouse is significantly lower than £100m, if the Allams are taking, or have already taken a chunk of the TV money, then the realistic selling price bearing in mind the only tangible asset is the playing squad, then I can readily understand why the selling price, could and should be substantially lower than c£100m.

I can hear it now.............quote Ehab 'we wanted to sell to a good home! It's our legacy!'

I wonder if part of the deal will include some sort of agreement to cut the Allams in should the stadium (and surrounding area) be redeveloped by the Chinese?

Pure speculation but such a deal for the Allams would mean:

Money back for their investment in the football club (and presumably some profit) that they presumably never wanted in the first place
Not having to deal with 'lousy' Hull City Council to get their hands on what they presumably did want in the first place
Saves face (they can say the sold the club/walked away) and they don't lower themselves to deal publicly with HCC
In the Chinese, a wealthy partner who has a clean slate locally and experience of redevelopment

    For the Chinese:

A PL club at a cheaper price
A council who are already making overtures with regard to redevelopment of area
A local partner (in Allams) with knowledge of area

If Hull city bid for a player, the fee would be paid from cash in the bank account of Hull City, not the personal bank account of Ehab Allam or the Chinese Consortium. The money in the club belongs to the club and not the Allams. So he could quite easily be bidding for players as it wont effect his personal finances in the slightest, would just need to be agreed with the potential new owners as they would be taken the risk on when buying the club. If anything it would increase the value of the club as it would increase the value of the assets.

Its hard to say how good he is as he didnt get enough game time. How reliable is that source? are they very accurate with their rumors or should we just take it with a pinch of salt?

They're the most reliable of the Twitter transfer rumour sites.

    They broke Diame to Newcastle.

Yes, the point is if we are bidding large sums, it will be sanctioned by the Chinese as in the end it is going to be the money of the club they own.

He's excellent, would be a real coup if it comes off. Can't believe Everton are allowing him out.

I remember we were linked with him when Martinez was tipped to be the manager. Tobes said he was their worst signing ever or something to that effect.

Thats the point, they are trying to sell the club and its value is by and large its players, and yet they are still trying to buy players and god forbid may even have to sell a player. How do you make a contract to sell wether its 50 or a 100 million when the club is still trying to buy more players / assets and therefore changing the value of the club.

Hence why i state "would just need to be agreed with the potential new owners as they would be taken the risk on when buying the club."

Do you think we might consider signing someone who isn't a striker?

i just hope that players are not waiting for the club to be sold before signing and the buyers are waiting for the club to sign players before buying the club. What a predicament that would be.

I can't see the potential owners or the Allams for that mater sanctioning a spend of 9 million without knowing the deal to buy / sell the club is done. Anything could happen at the last minute before the contract is signed.
