Happy the Hedgehog is lovely and he likes to make a lot of rustling sounds at night. Hedgehogs rule Ok
Did you know, that if you drop one in a swimming pool it drinks all the water and becomes completely round and you can use it as a football? #HedgehogFacts
You're right there, it was just the fact that it was 25 years more or less to the day 9th August 1991 that this "leg over" comment occurred, how time flies.
Tonight is the peak of the annual Perseid Meteor Shower, when the Earth passes through the debris of comet Swift-Tuttle. It's predicted that we could be passing through a denser part of the debris, creating up to 200 shooting stars per hour. I saw an early one a couple of nights ago that lasted a couple of seconds and stretched over half of the sky, leaving behind a train that lasted for another couple of seconds. Unfortunately, it's as cloudy as **** but I'm hoping it clears a bit before midnight otherwise I've got tomorrow off for no reason. http://www.slate.com/blogs/bad_astronomy/2016/08/05/how_to_watch_the_2016_perseid_meteor_shower.html
I was in a very busy supermarket and I said to this young lady, "I can't find my wife, can I talk to you for a couple of minutes?" She said,"sure you can, but how will that help?" "Because any second now she's going to appear from nowhere", I replied. please log in to view this image
As I'm not getting any younger I've been putting something away every month for a rainy day. So far, I've got 34 umbrellas and 18 pairs of wellies.
